Founded on January 22, 1885, the Genesee Valley Club is one of Rochester's oldest private social clubs, established by ninety-one civic and business leaders at a time when the city stood at the center of American industry and culture. The club has maintained its home on East Avenue for well over a century, and today holds recognized standing among America's premier private clubs. Ten event spaces across the property accommodate groups from as few as six to standing receptions of 500. The Seneca, Heritage, Erie Canal, East Avenue, and Genesee River rooms provide intimate settings for meetings and private gatherings of 6 to 40. The Founders' Room, Kearns Room, and Main Lounge step up to 60–100 guests, and the Main Dining Room hosts seated dinners of up to 250. The Front Club Terrace extends the property outdoors for receptions of up to 100. The club's culinary team handles catering ranging from casual buffets and grazing stations to formal seated dinners. The venue accommodates a full spectrum of occasions — wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday and graduation celebrations, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and business events including board meetings, day retreats, and holiday parties.

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a wedding reception, a social evening with your friends, an unique production or professional networking event may all be held in this vast, multipurpose space, which is perfect for any sort of business or social event. In addition, it features a fantastic bar that is candle lit and state of the art. This bar offers a relaxing and elegant atmosphere and can be either open or concealed from view. The cocktail hall has a capacity of 275 persons and is equipped with a pre-function lobby. There are no Cocktail Hall hours on Fridays from 7pm to 10pm or Saturdays from 9am to 12pm (except on holidays). Outside catering is not permitted due to the presence of an in-house caterer in the facility. The following amenities are available in this space: wireless high-speed Internet access, audiovisual equipment, air conditioning/heat, and restrooms. Established in 1898, Mahopac Golf and Beach Club carries more than 125 years of tradition on its 200-acre property in Putnam County, New York. The club sits alongside Lake Mahopac, with an 18-hole championship course designed by Devereux Emmet — the same architect behind Garden City Golf Club and Congressional Country Club — as its centerpiece. For private events and celebrations, the Ballroom accommodates 40 to 120 guests and features French doors that open onto the Terrace, which overlooks the signature 9th hole. The Executive Chef develops custom menus to serve gatherings of up to 150 guests, from intimate dinners to seated weddings. The Ithaca Yacht Club occupies a stretch of Cayuga Lake's west shore, roughly 3.5 miles north of Cass Park and situated below the Glenwood Pines restaurant on Glenwood Road — making it Ithaca's only true lakeside event venue. The club opens its grounds for private events from May through October, welcoming weddings, corporate meetings, seminars, anniversaries, birthday parties, reunions, graduation celebrations, and other gatherings. Membership is not required to book an event. Indoor facilities accommodate up to 200 guests across the main clubhouse, blue awning patio, and member deck. For larger events, the grounds expand onto The Point, where a tent can be set up to host up to 400 guests. All food and beverage service is provided by ITH Hospitality, the club's exclusive on-site caterer, offering a full range of options from casual luncheons to formal banquet fare.

Founded in 1984 by Judge John L. Phillips Jr., The Black Lady Theatre is a Brooklyn-based cultural organization dedicated to arts, activism, and public scholarship.
