Aaron Bludorn, the chef, has his roots in the Gulf area and serves New American cuisine that is inspired by French cuisine with love and honesty. Dishes, wines from around the world, and drinks made from scratch are on offer at this neighborhood institution, which has menus that change with the seasons. We aim to provide an amazing dining experience for our guests by preparing delectable dishes using only the finest ingredients and by paying close attention to detail while also extending a kind greeting. Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse sits along Westheimer Road in Houston's Galleria corridor, drawing guests from River Oaks, Memorial, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Katy, and Midtown. The restaurant offers valet and complimentary parking for visitors. At the heart of the experience is authentic rodízio service: skilled gauchos circulate continuously through the dining room, carving USDA Prime beef tableside. The meat is sourced exclusively from the Midwest, corn-fed and aged 45 days, and seasoned simply with coarse salt to let its quality come through. The rotating selection includes picanha, filet mignon, ribeye, and Colorado lamb chops, with a two-sided card letting each table signal when to continue or pause service. A gourmet salad bar rounds out the meal with more than 30 fresh options, including imported Spanish and Italian cheeses, charcuterie, and warm pão de queijo, alongside a bar program featuring handcrafted cocktails and Brazilian caipirinhas. For private events, Chama Gaúcha offers distinct private dining rooms accommodating groups of 16 to 150 guests, appointed with warm ambiance and sophisticated décor. The space and menu can be customized for corporate dinners, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, and other milestone events, with a dedicated events team managing the details.

The original Houston Heights Fire Station No. 14 is located at Yale and 12th Street, approximately 4 miles north of downtown Houston, and is the last remaining municipal facility from the era when the Heights was a separate municipality. Houston's first public meeting hall, City Hall, fire station, and jail were all constructed in 1914 at a time when horse-drawn fire wagons were still the primary means of transportation. When it became Station Number 14 in 1918, it would remain that way until 1987, when it was permanently decommissioned for the last time. The Houston Heights Association voted in the early millennium to save the building and restore it to its former splendor, and they were successful. After repairing the building and installing vintage carriage-style doors in homage to the horse-drawn carriages of the early twentieth century, when the corral was located directly behind the fire station, The H.H.A. was able to reopen the corral. After being purchased by the Houston Height Association in 1979, the property has since grown to become one of the most popular outdoor wedding venues in the city of Houston. The museum offers docent-led and self-guided tours for visitors and groups, along with educational programming for K-12 schools and university students, and functions as a gathering point for discussion across heritages. Chef Jacques Fox was born in the North African city of "Sidi-Bel-Abbes" and raised in France by his Polish grandparents. Even before graduating from high school, Chef Jacques Fox demonstrated an early aptitude for cooking. Following high school, Chef Jacques enrolled in a two-year program at the College D'Enseignement Techniques in Tulle, France, to further his culinary education. When Chef Jacques graduated from his training program in 1975, he relocated to Paris, where he accepted his first chef position at Maison Prunier, a world-renowned seafood restaurant. In 1976, he joined Elitair Maxims, where he worked for four years before being promoted to executive chef. After leaving Paris in 1983, Chef Jacques went to work for Club Mediterrainnee (Club Med), where he had the opportunity to further develop his culinary skills and understanding of global cuisine at luxury resorts around the world, including those in Kamarina, Sicily; Noumea, New Caledonia; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Farakulafushi, Maldives; Kos, Greece; Eilat, Israel; Cooper Mountain, United States; and Les Menuires et (Click on the "read more" link above to learn more.) The "Medieval Room I" can accommodate up to 12 people, while the "Medieval Room II" can accommodate up to 10 people. When the "Medieval Rooms" are combined, they can accommodate a total of 24 people. ART NOUVEAU, French for "New Art" (pronounced New-Vo), spread throughout Europe and major American cities from circa 1890 to World War I, when it fell out of fashion. Art Nouveau designers believed that all arts should work in harmony to create a "total work of art". After World War I, the Art Deco style took over and Art Nouveau was soon forgotten.
