St. James Cheese Company is the perfect setting for private wine and cheese tastings, happy hours, rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, weddings, and more. Cheese, cheese, charcuterie, and more cheese, please. Sandwiches, salads, and even more cheese are all on the menu. Mission The purpose of our business is to present our clients with a precisely picked and unexpectedly broad range of wonderfully mature cheeses, charcuterie, and gourmet food products. Our menu has been carefully crafted to include sandwiches, salads, and cheese-centric dishes that are both contemporary and European in style, in order to appeal to a wide range of food enthusiasts. What it Is and How it Works We know people who know people who know people who know people who know people. The best method to obtain the farmhouse cheeses we are wild about is to identify the people who love creating them as much as we do about selling them. We found this out a long time ago and have been using it ever since. We've established an international network of cheese makers and affineurs who supply us with the artisan and farmhouse cheeses that are not available in other shops in the United States. What to Expect When You Arrive We operate on the premise that cheese should be enjoyable, and we strive to make each and every visit to our shop unique and memorable. There are areas for the cheese novice, the rind smelling expert, and the curd curious to explore. These are the folks who work for us. St James cheesemongers and guests are urged to sample every cheese available on a daily basis in order to guarantee that each cheese is served at its best.

Sunday, or Domenica in Italian, is the day of the week for unhurried exploration and cooking hearty meals. Our chefs at Domenica restaurant work tirelessly to create meals that passionately combine local, fresh ingredients with time-honored preparation methods in an effort to bring diners to those treasured moments. Even though the cuisine is based on history, our chefs elevate Italian ingredients and traditional flavors to produce modern classics that are tailored for New Orleans' modern palate. Custom-brewed beers, seasonal artisan cocktails, and a wine list with an emphasis on Italy perfectly compliment the fresh pastas made by hand every day, roasted vegetables, meats, and Napolitano-style pizzas that are all served in the restaurant's distinctive wood oven. The Cellar, Domenica's exclusive private dining space, is only reachable through the kitchen, where you can watch the drama unfold firsthand. For your upcoming event, The Cellar offers an opulent but pleasant setting. If necessary, visitors with disabilities can access The Cellar. For bigger parties, Domenica might also be purchased.
