They met in 2016 while both were employed full-time by AT&T. Sarah began decorating small parties for family and friends when she first started out, with ambitions to one day work as an event planner. Devin supported her ideas while also searching for his own life's meaning and calling. He hopes to make a positive contribution to the community. As time went on and their family and duties increased, their ambition began to wane and it became simply impossible to achieve. After their wedding in February 2020, she felt that now was the time for her to give it another shot. As a result of Covid-19, the entire world was forced to shut down the following month. Their ambition had been shattered yet another time. They both continued to work for AT&T, and subsequently concluded that we needed a location where people could communicate in a way that had an impact on society. On June 13, 2021, the Creole Soiree restaurant in Broussard officially opened its doors. They are now members of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, and they host a monthly community involvement event every month.
