His unique open kitchen and fish market, double-height ceilings, walls of windows, and two mezzanine-level private dining rooms created the groundwork for what would become New York's and the world's standard bearer for Mediterranean cuisine and the freshest, most exquisite ingredients. An event facility with four private dining rooms, a full service bar, a separate kitchen for events, private restrooms, and separate coat check is included in the restaurant's price. Our private dining rooms are the perfect backdrop for special occasions such as family birthdays, team meetings, or quiet dinners with friends. Removing one of our sliding wood-paneled walls will reveal a bar area at the base of our spiral staircase, allowing you to book the full room for your Christmas party, seminar or cocktail reception! Wave Hill offers the most romantic setting in New York City for your unforgettable wedding. Your ceremony takes place at the Pergola on the Great Lawn, with your cocktail hour either there or moved to the Lower Lawn or Kate French Terrace at historic Wave Hill House. Seated dinner is held in Armor Hall, which has a capacity capped at 130 guests, including a small band and dance floor in the Hall. If you choose to locate the dance floor nearby in the adjacent Mark Twain Room, the capacity is then 180 seated guests. Tented options are available at an additional cost for larger events up to 230 guests. Renting Wave Hill for a private weekend event requires a Wave Hill Membership at the $10,000 level. The tax-deductible portion is $9,748, and provides the wedding host with one year of Member benefits at this special level. In addition to Membership, the rental fee for a private evening event on the weekend is $8,000. Guest arrival begins at 6pm with departure at midnight. Wave Hill’s exclusive caterer, Great Performances, is dedicated to collaborating with you to create a personalized, quality experience for your guests.
