The Orion Center is a community event facility operated by Orion Township Parks & Recreation, located at 1335 Joslyn Road in Lake Orion, Michigan. Built in 2011 on 11 acres, the center provides multiple rentable interior spaces for banquets, wedding receptions, birthday parties, reunions, meetings, and other private gatherings. Three dining rooms — A, B, and C — accommodate groups ranging from 40 to 96 seated guests individually, and can be combined to seat up to 180 guests at tables and chairs, or 225 guests with chairs only. His wife Alice, daughters Holly and Heather, and sister Anne Leisinger joined the venture, building a working farm dedicated to crafting wine exclusively from Michigan-grown fruit. Today Holly serves as winemaker and Kirk manages the vineyard. The winery's menu spans more than 35 wines — dry, off-dry, semi-sweet, dessert, and port varieties — alongside four house-made beers and ciders. Guests enjoy tastings in the main tasting room or on the patio and lawn, with wine-friendly food available from Kitchen Little, including customizable charcuterie boards.
