The Chateau Lill is widely regarded as the best event venue in the Woodinville area. With a property that is 10 acres in size and boasts immaculate grounds, including lush rolling lawns, ponds, and a small farm that is surrounded by tall fir trees. The actual chateau has a room called the Barrel Room and a room called the Grand Room. During the peak summer season, there is also a tented open-air terrace outside. Other concealed enclaves can be discovered in the upper lawn, the vineyard lawn, high up in the chateau tower, or at the popular gazebo that is tucked away next to our picturesque pond. It takes only twenty-five minutes to get to the heart of Seattle from Chateau Lill, fifteen minutes to get to Bellevue, and ten minutes to get to Redmond. There are a number of hotels in both Bellevue and Redmond that come highly recommended by our team. There are over 130 wineries, breweries, and distilleries dotted across the landscape of Woodinville, all of which are located within a radius of five miles of Chateau Lill. Block 41 Bio: Block 41 is one of downtown Seattle’s newest and most unique private event venues. Repurposed from a 1920's ice warehouse, this indoor-outdoor urban chic venue is in the heart of the groovy Belltown neighborhood. Two separate floors combine the best of old and new with leather-wrapped columns, massive old growth timber, exposed brick walls, and vintage car decking merge gracefully with blackened steel, and state-of-the-art building systems. An abundance of windows allows stunning, natural light to flood the space. Rooms and Capacity Upstairs, the Bert & Tot Ballroom is perfectly suited for elegant sit-down dinners, fanciful ceremonies, and dancing the night away. Located on the second floor, the space provides urban views of downtown Seattle. Its interior features beautiful oak floors, brick, and board-formed concrete walls with blackened steel elements throughout. You will also find a fully equipped prep kitchen, ADA-accessible restrooms, a full building sound system, adjustable overhead lighting, and an area complete with stage lighting. The ballroom accommodates 500 standing guests or 350 seated guests and features a private outdoor courtyard. The Outdoor Courtyard is a fully landscaped and private outdoor area featuring LED colorful fence lighting, lush greenery, and wooden decking. Every detail is designed to create an oasis effect right in the middle of the city. The courtyard also doubles as an outdoor event space ideal for up to 50 seated guests or 110 standing guests. Downstairs you will also find a fully equipped prep kitchen and ADA-accessible restroom. Services Offered Block 41 offers an extensive array of services for events and special occasions. Venue rental packages include the use of two preparation kitchens, one loading zone per floor, fully equipped for catering services, four mobile bars, and three ceiling-mounted projectors with drop screens. Home to the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, no detail is overlooked. BEST USES The Mansion offers a fantastic backdrop for any event looking to add a touch of historic grandeur. From a casual birthday party to an intimate wedding celebration, the venue is flexible to meet your vision. Each booking is expected to bring their own food and beverage. Your rental includes everything you need such as warming trays, compostable plates and flatware, serving platters, ice, and more. You will work with our Events Coordinator to determine the best floor plan for your event. Tables and chairs are available in a variety of layouts that perfectly suite a cocktail party for 150 or a seating affair for up to 65 people. THE SPACE The main floor and main entrance welcomes guests with a Grand Foyer worthy of the family that built this home. To one end of the hall is the Library and a view of the largest fireplace of the property. All throughout is artwork and artifacts reflecting the early 20th century history of the building. The Library is home to both a large ornate fireplace and also a small mezzanine that is home to a baby grand piano. One wall is lined with books and another with large picture windows. Portraits of the Stimson & Green families give the room a regal atmosphere. The dining room also includes a fireplace and an ornate romanesque dining table that seats 20 (including 20 upholstered dining chairs), plenty of room for the grandest food buffet.
