    • Spaces for 150-200 Guests

At The Fulton, a restaurant by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, you can get away from the city and rediscover the enchantment of the sea. The Fulton is a one-of-a-kind venue for your private event, with indoor and outdoor riverfront dining with views of the Brooklyn Bridge. The Fulton is Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's first seafood restaurant, and it's in an area of town where he fell in love with the vibrancy of the former Fulton Fish Market in 1986. The menu, which pays homage to The Seaport's past, focuses on the best ingredients and the abundance of the sea and beyond. Vongerichten has created a devoted following of diners who follow him across the world for four decades. ABC Kitchen, abcV, and Public Kitchen in New York, Market in Paris, and Mercato in Shanghai and Guangzhou are among the chef's 36 (and counting) restaurants. The Seaport's unique nautical heritage has been woven into the textures of The Fulton, which Vongerichten and interior designers Yabu Pushelberg have created as a venue to link New Yorkers and visitors with the city's maritime past. The restaurant's main dining floor is encircled by hand-painted murals by painters Diego Castao and Chandler Noah. The work, titled "South of Cape Horn" and inspired by Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, relates the narrative of explorers who embark on a chance expedition in quest of a rumored sea monster. The restaurant's waterfront location provides a unique New York dining experience, complete with patio seating and some of the best unobstructed views of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Charlie Bird is a fun neighborhood restaurant located in Soho, NYC and offering an Italian-inspired, American-executed menu developed by Chef Ryan Hardy. Theo Lieberman oversees the wine program, a list featuring an exceptional selection of vintages and delicious wines. Charlie Bird is rooted in all things New York - from the brick and mortar walls that date back to 1880, to a kitchen that only sources local ingredients for the menu, to the hip hop-inspired art that covers the walls. The menu reflects Chef and Co-owner Ryan Hardy’s thoughtful interpretation of what he describes as a nod to Italian cuisine, influenced by his passion for making cheese, curing meats, digging for clams, diving for urchin, farming produce and crafting handmade pasta. Co-owner Robert Bohr and Wine Director Grant Reynolds developed the wine list, which offers a small but compelling array of bottles. The 60-seat space is decidedly NY, manifesting an understated modern aesthetic designed to offer amazing food in an ambiance that is both sophisticated and approachable. The Private Dining Room at Charlie Bird can accommodate up to 14 diners, providing New Yorkers renting this venue with something that they rarely get: isolation. Tucked away, the private dining room includes a handcrafted, custom-built walnut table and bespoke chairs made of vintage fabric. Exposed brick walls, clean wood lines and beautiful lighting fixtures compliment the aesthetics of the main dining room. While the menu format is family-style, the private dining experience at Charlie Bird is entirely customizable; guests collaborate with Hospitality Emcee Martin Gobbée and a Wine Team member to craft the perfect evening that best fits their occasion. We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. Our largest single private room is the Red Room on the second floor. In an attractive 2nd floor dining room, seats 20-30 guests for a sit-down lunch or supper, or up to 40 guests for a cocktail reception. Guests can book the Red Room, Drawing Room, and Blue Room for large-scale gatherings. For a sit-down lunch or dinner, all three rooms can seat 30-80 people, or up to 100 people for a cocktail reception. Our second-floor private cocktail bar can accommodate groups of up to 25 people. We can seat 140 guests for a seated dinner or up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception with a full buyout. Reach out today to start planning your private dining experience!

    311 W 34th St., New York, NY 10001, USA

THREE REMARKABLE EVENT VENUES. ONE AMAZING LOCATION. Built in 1906 by Oscar Hammerstein, and meticulously and majestically restored over the years, The Hammerstein Ballroom is New York’s premier choice for event planners seeking the spectacular. With a 75-foot hand-painted ceiling, all events reach new heights within The Hammerstein Ballroom. Practical as it is beautiful, the ceiling features numerous rigging points for production lighting, sound or set design. At Manhattan Center, we don’t believe one premier event space is enough. So we offer three: The Hammerstein Ballroom, The Grand Ballroom and The Bank. Putting aside the richly restored period architecture, and natural acoustics that renowned performers have called the “best in the world”, the venues’ spacious dimensions allow for guest lists ranging from 400 to 3,500; while featuring extensive dressing rooms, private salons and opera boxes. All this comes with the most convenient location in New York: 34th Street and 8th Avenue. Within its nearly one-city-block configuration, the Manhattan Center offers something more than two premier New York event locations. Directly connected to The Hammerstein Ballroom and The Grand Ballroom is the historic New Yorker hotel. Built during the Jazz Age, this iconic hotel has dazzled visitors with its Art Deco décor, exceptional service and superb location in Midtown West for generations. Owned and operated by the Manhattan Center, The New Yorker, with more than 1,000 rooms restored in period style, is an elegant establishment that is perfect for guests attending corporate events, tradeshows, fashion shows, new-product launches, or whatever function you or your company choose to hold. Whatever it may be, you will be comfortable and confident in the knowledge that The Hammerstein Ballroom and The Grand Ballroom are widely considered the two best venues and event spaces in New York. The New Yorker, a Wyndham hotel, is also ready, and more than able, to host a wide array of meetings, conferences or corporate gatherings. From the most intimate retreat, to a grand gala, The New Yorker team provides a full range of all-inclusive customizable meeting packages to meet your every need — from budget to full-blown The New Yorker delivers excellence on every service level. Featuring The Grand for stunning large-scale receptions, and our Sky Lounge perched 39 stories above the streets of Manhattan for more personal events, The New Yorker hotel stands above the rest. Located a block from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, and just minutes from Times Square, the Jacob Javits Center and the Empire State building, The New Yorker isn’t simply central to New York. It is New York.
