  Founded in 1967 on the shore of Sikes Lake, the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at MSU Texas is an accredited art museum that has served the community for more than half a century. Handcrafted details from Lost Mission's on-site workshop appear throughout the property, including hand-carved white oak and cypress doors, wrought-iron sconces and chandeliers, 1890s pews shipped in from a Pennsylvania church, and a mission bell reclaimed from a Kerrville farm. Before dinner, these open-air terraces are ideal for sipping cocktails and enjoying hors d'oeuvres. Inside, a staircase leads to the second story, where smaller rooms are available for cooking the reception feast and getting ready with the wedding party.
