  BENDT No. 5 American Blended Whiskey is the first whiskey blend of its kind. What could be better than a tasty bourbon created by hand? Or maybe a rye? Perhaps a wheat? All of the above is correct. The sweet spot is found by taking the best of each distinct whiskey and bending and weaving each of their flavors together to create something new and amazing, smooth and delectable. BENDT can be found there. The first blended drink was produced in 2017, and our first blended whiskey was released in 2019. This happened after years of experimenting, changing recipes, and preparing whiskey mixes. If creating whiskey was our first love, the art of blending had become our second. BENDT Distilling Co. provides your visitors a one-of-a-kind experience, whether it's a private distillery tour or happy hour for your staff or a fully catered event for your entire organization. We accept groups of all sizes, with inside room for up to 125 people and outdoor area for up to 150. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, engagements, showers, and retirements are all excellent occasions to hold a party, and we would be delighted to host one. Contact a member of our staff to talk about your next event and let us handle the details. For both you and your guests, getting married at a whiskey distillery is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The appropriate setting for your special day is an outdoor or barrel room ceremony followed by an intimate reception in the whiskey garden and/or tasting hall.

  Chef Jacques Fox was born in the North African city of "Sidi-Bel-Abbes" and raised in France by his Polish grandparents. Even before graduating from high school, Chef Jacques Fox demonstrated an early aptitude for cooking. Following high school, Chef Jacques enrolled in a two-year program at the College D'Enseignement Techniques in Tulle, France, to further his culinary education. When Chef Jacques graduated from his training program in 1975, he relocated to Paris, where he accepted his first chef position at Maison Prunier, a world-renowned seafood restaurant. In 1976, he joined Elitair Maxims, where he worked for four years before being promoted to executive chef. After leaving Paris in 1983, Chef Jacques went to work for Club Mediterrainnee (Club Med), where he had the opportunity to further develop his culinary skills and understanding of global cuisine at luxury resorts around the world, including those in Kamarina, Sicily; Noumea, New Caledonia; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Farakulafushi, Maldives; Kos, Greece; Eilat, Israel; Cooper Mountain, United States; and Les Menuires et (Click on the "read more" link above to learn more.) The "Medieval Room I" can accommodate up to 12 people, while the "Medieval Room II" can accommodate up to 10 people. When the "Medieval Rooms" are combined, they can accommodate a total of 24 people. In the Artisans Restaurant's two Medieval Rooms, you'll find the intimate, hidden charm of a private dining room or the inner sanctum of a grand estate, all in one place. Intimate gatherings and special occasions will be enhanced by the use of wood paneled walls and low ceilings, as well as over-sized farmhouse tables and the soft glow of custom chandeliers. In addition to being extremely comfortable, the padded chairs provide an up-close and personal view of the kitchen as the Artisans prepare your innovative and eclectic cuisine. The Artisans Restaurant offers exquisite Private Dining Rooms that are ideal for accommodating parties of all sizes, including wedding parties.   Inspired by a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence began as a working vineyard on the gently sloped hills of Florence, Texas, and grew into a boutique hotel and resort with a winery, restaurant, day spa, and private event spaces. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024. For weddings and private events, the property offers a range of settings, from Ella Amore's expansive vineyard-view spaces for large gatherings to the more intimate Winemaker's Villa. Farmers Commons, the on-site restaurant, is also available for semi-private events or a full buyout, with prix fixe menus and custom cocktails.   Mama La is the secret ingredient in each of our Kim Son Restaurants, and she can be found in every location. Kim Su Tran La was born in Vietnam, and she, her husband, and their seven children fled to Houston in 1980, fleeing the communist regime that had taken over their country at the time. Mother-in-law Mama La was able to memorize more than 250 recipes before opening the first KIM SON Restaurant, thanks to her extensive knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine, which she received from her in-laws. In a short period of time, her food amassed a large following of thousands of followers, as well as the admiration and loyalty of many of Vietnam's top restaurant cities. The first KIM SON store was located in Vinh Long, but it was eventually closed as a result of the communist takeover of the country in 1975. KIM SON has been recognized by a number of prestigious publications, including Bon Appétit, Esquire, and Food & Wine, and has been named "Best Vietnamese Restaurant" in Houston on an annual basis by the Houston Press.
