In addition to being adjacent to and above the garden, the venue serves as an unusual and magical setting. The Loft, located in northwest D.C.'s thriving Shaw neighborhood, is easily accessible but feels far away, as if you were in your own private enclave of enlightened elegance. Dacha Loft opened in the fall of 2016 with a Supper Club dinner series and events for our "Dacha Regulars," as we like to refer to those who frequent the restaurant. Over the course of the past two years, we've transformed what started out as an idea into a reality. The Loft has grown into a thriving events venue, hosting a wide range of events such as rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions, bridal showers, all-hands team meetings and corporate retreats, video shoots, birthday parties, baby showers, yoga workshops, and other similar occasions.

If you live anywhere between Montgomery County, Maryland and Loudoun County, Virginia, or any other location in between, we have a perfect space for you. Learn more about our one-of-a-kind private dining spaces by reading on. Georgetown in the 1960s was a far cry from the thriving center of upscale shopping and tourism that it has become today. Putting a dapper Harvard grad in the same bar as some burly bikers on M Street may seem unlikely, but that's exactly what happened when the young Stuart Davidson decided Georgetown needed its own neighborhood saloon. Upon leasing the two-room B&J Restaurant, he would rename it after the Scottish river Clyde, and transform it into a gathering place for diners and cocktail drinkers who, like himself, "would rather eat in a saloon than drink in a restaurant." With its own bar and private indoor balcony, the Piedmont Room is located in the Chinatown/Penn Quarter, one of Washington's most vibrant neighborhoods. The room is decorated in the style of a country farmhouse, complete with a large bronze horse, sterling silver trophies, and chandeliers.
