Italian Wine Merchants offers private spaces with a warm and inviting atmosphere, handcrafted seasonal and regional dishes, carefully selected and impeccably kept wines, and our professional staff to ensure your events are memorable. We will work with you to help create a memorable evening, preparing a customized menu that comprises both wine and food selections that are based on your preferences and budget. During the event, our culinary team and lead sommelier will briefly discuss the history and preparation of the Italian food courses, the origin and characteristics of the wines, and the nature of each pairing. Color Factory is a collaborative interactive exhibit that debuted in San Francisco in August 2017. What was intended as a month-long run unexpectedly flourished as a celebration of color and creativity that lasted for another eight sold-out months. In August 2018, a whole new palette came to New York City in SoHo’s Hudson Square neighborhood. In 20,000 square feet, we feature brand-new participatory installations of colors we’ve collected around the city— hues that invite curiosity, discovery and play. Some of our favorite artists, creatives, designers and makers are teaming up with us to tell their unique color stories and engage all of your senses in unexpected ways. We hope that the palette and projects offered within Color Factory will connect you to the colorful moments around New York and in your own daily life.

Union Square is the location of the Manhattan Penthouse. Palladian windows, which are found throughout the loft-like space and provide panoramic views of New York City, are installed throughout the building. The venue can accommodate up to 180 guests, making it an excellent choice for corporate functions, weddings, and other social events of all kinds. When Monika Nemeth finished college in Budapest with a major in Hotel and Catering Management, she went to work for Compexpo, where she organized conventions. Her next position was at the Hungarian Pavilion at the 1992 World Exposition in Sevilla, Spain. Monika arrived in the United States in 1994 and began working as the Catering Director at The Downtown Athletic Club in New York City. Her pleasant demeanor, professionalism, and graciousness serve to reinforce the positive attributes of our company. Brian Pancir received classical training at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. He worked as an apprentice in Michelin-starred restaurants throughout Europe before becoming Sous Chef at Jean-Georges for four years in New York City. Mr. Brian has worked as a private chef for a number of celebrities, has advised Trader Joe's and Golden Corral, has served as Culinary Director of Manhattan Star Academy, and has been voted Best Chef by Dan's Paper magazine. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys traveling the world in search of fishing opportunities.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Manhattan's skyline, LIC Landing by COFFEED features a spectacular 2000 sq-ft outdoor event space and a high-quality outdoor cafe. It is located in Long Island City's beautiful, brand-new waterfront park at Hunters Point South. The event location and associated park space will be home to a wide variety of public and private events throughout the year. LIC Landing's restaurant features a healthy selection of locally-sourced offerings as well as craft beers and fine wines, and of course, COFFEED's specialty coffees and teas. The cafe has a pick-up window, but will also offer table service under the park's majestic pavilion. As with all COFFEED locations, LIC Landing by COFFEED allocates a portion of sales revenue to a community-based non-profit - in this case, the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, a community group created to support the use and upkeep of the parks, green spaces and waterfront in Hunters Point, Queens. The Claudette restaurant is named after Claudette Sammut, the 91 year-old mother of Guy Sammut, who with his wife Reine own two beautiful restaurants and a small hotel in Loumarin. Carlos stumbled upon the property on a sunny October afternoon and was so inspired by the beautiful setting, Reine’s food, Guy’s incredible warmth, and the Sammut family’s story, that he asked Guy – before dessert was even served – if they could name the restaurant after his mother. Luckily, he said yes. Claudette is available for private dining & large-party events such as cocktail receptions, dinners, wedding receptions and more.

Hancock St. is an NYC restaurant owned by John McDonald and Chef Ryan Schmidtberger that focuses on fresh ingredients and reimagined takes on basic meals. It has a 75-seat dining room, a 50-seat Garden Veranda, and a private dining room that can accommodate up to 30 people. Co-owner Serge Becker is no stranger to the hospitality industry, having owned famous establishments such as Area MK, Bowery Bar, La Esquina, Miss Lilly's, and Bodega Negra. Ryan Schmidtberger, the head chef of Hancock Street, is a former Lure Fishbar alum. Despite the fact that it was peak COVID, Becker and McDonald had previously collaborated on Lure Fishbar and believed it was time to start a new project together. Hancock is a white tablecloth restaurant that only serves dinner. "The space is dark, sexy, vintage looking," McDonald says, “It feels like it has been here for 20 years already, which was the goal." McDonald envisioned an elegant eatery that was neither fussy nor pretentious. He and Becker wanted to create something that appeared to have been around for a long time, with history and flaws. The menu features typical New York American fare that you'll want to eat every day. After a few months of the lockdown, McDonald was bored, and it prompted him to reconsider what he intended to do with a few of his properties. Pre-pandemic, the restaurateur had intended to conduct a two-week modest renovation of El Toro Blanco, but instead decided to do a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Serge Becker was also in town, so the pair got to work on Hancock St, and the rest is history.
