The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a one-of-a-kind 127-acre botanical garden and historical attraction in the midst of Arcadia's historic Rancho Santa Anita. Would you like to host your next event at the Arboretum's lovely and serene setting? Weddings, photography, videography, corporate gatherings, and special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, and showers can all be carried out at various locations throughout this beautiful park. For wedding ceremonies or celebrations, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden provides a naturally stunning and distinctive venue. The Bauer Lawn (with its surrounding fountains), the Queen Anne Cottage lawn, the Rose Garden, the Waterfall/Meadowbrook, and the Celebration Garden are also popular spots. Our romantic Rose Garden, tropical waterfall, and lush flowers and plants make for a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Our wedding season runs from April until October, when the clocks change for Daylight Savings. After 5:00 p.m., all ceremonies and receptions commence. You can pay entry and tour the various places at your leisure, or you can organize a private tour with the Wedding Coordinator. The Peacock Cafe is located in the garden and offers outside seating with a magnificent view of the Arboretum. The Arboretum does not allow outside food. The Café can accommodate catering for weddings and other special occasions booked at the Arboretum. The Lane is San Diego's premiere waterfront venue with fabulous views, modern amenities, and ideal proximity to hotels, the airport and downtown San Diego! The Lane offers 12,000 sq feet of versatile interior & exterior event space with a layout that was intentionally designed to create an effortless flow between the two interconnected gathering areas and an outdoor waterfront terrace. The elevated terrace overlooks the Bay and Lane Field Park; perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hours and much more. The Lane also displays a furnished suite, stylish restrooms, a large prep-kitchen and a surrounding sound system. Every rental includes the full venue for 12 hours of access. The Lane includes intentionally curated wooden top tables, cocktail tables, a rolling bar + modern chairs to suit our flexible layout. Our team will set up and tear down our inventory and be there every step of the way to make your dream event a reality.

The Museum of San Francisco offers approximately 4,000 square feet of event space plus an outdoor balcony with views of the financial district. Located at 608 Commercial Street, this historic venue is just steps away from the Transamerica Pyramid, North Beach, and China Town. The building marks the site of the first U.S. branch mint in the West. Montgomery Street, one-half block away, marks the original waterline of Yerba Buena Cove. Visitors can peer into the underground brick vault where gold was stored. The vault survived the 1906 earthquake and fire. Our Founder… Ely Reeves Callaway Jr. was born on June 3, 1919 in LaGrange, Georgia. His father worked for the family firm which owned eight textile mills in the town. Young Ely’s success in business began at the early age of ten, when he used money he had earned from delivering magazines to lease an acre of land on which he planted peach trees. He made more than $700 from his first crop. In his early teens, Callaway took up golf, inspired by the achievements of his mother’s cousin, Bobby Jones, who in 1930 won the first “Grand Slam”. Upon graduation at Emory University, Callaway found the course of his life changed by World War II. He joined the US Army as a Reserve Officer and once his background in textiles was discovered, he was posted to Philadelphia where the Army had its main procurement facility for all its clothing. The contacts he had made in the post brought him a flood of offers from clothing manufactures, several of whom he worked for the next 27 years. In the late 1960’s, extensive research led Callaway to Temecula and to veteran viticulturist, John Moramarco, who believed that the area was ideal for growing premium wine grapes. In the rolling hills, Callaway found what he believed to be the perfect spot to plant his vines; a 1600 foot plateau, located below the peaks of a foggy mountain range “where the sun shines through the mist”. In 1969, the Callaway vineyards were planted and by the early 1970’s, Callaway said goodbye to textiles and hello to wine! He defied experts who considered Southern California unsuitable and put Temecula on the map as a serious wine producing region. After selling the business in 1981 to Hiram Walker, Callaway enjoyed a brief retirement but came back “swinging” and became a leader in the golf industry. The success of the “Big Bertha” golf club made Callaway Golf the number one golf company in the world and Ely Callaway, an icon. On July 5, 2001, Ely Callaway died at the age of 82. He left behind his legacy…one that continues to this day. 50 Years in the Making… Callaway Vineyard & Winery has had some remarkable events and achievements throughout 50 years… Royalty… On July 9, 1976, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, and his Royal Highness, The Prince Duke of Edinburgh, toasted the President of the United States at a luncheon at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. The only wine served at this bicentennial event honoring the Royal couple’s visit to this country, was Callaway’s estate bottled 1974 White Riesling. Her Majesty, not known to be a wine drinker, requested a second glass! This was the first time in U.S. viticultural history that a dry table wine from Southern California was chosen to be served on the east coast at an international diplomatic event. The America’s Cup… When the America’s Cup set sail for San Diego in 1992, Callaway Vineyard & Winery joined with the America’s Cup and purchased a license to the name by the owners of the trademark. A special bottling of the 1989 Cabernet Sauvignon was created featuring a custom label with the America’s Cup logo. The America’s Cup is the most prestigious regatta and match race in the sport of sailing. The Wall Street Journal… Callaway Vineyard & Winery has won numerous awards and accolades throughout the years. In an article written on October 26, 2007 in the Wall Street Journal, Callaway’s 2005 Special Selection Muscat Canelli was named a favorite in the Dow Jones Muscat Canelli Index. This was a blind tasting of light, sweet American wines from the flowery Muscat Canelli grape and received national recognition. And, the Legacy Continues… Now privately owned, Callaway Vineyard & Winery was purchased by the Lin family of San Diego upon the dissolution of industry leader, Allied Domecq Wines, in late 2005. Callaway Vineyard & Winery wines are only available through our tasting rooms in Temecula and San Diego or online. They are not available in any retail stores.

Brack Shop Tavern offers classic cocktails, craft beers, warm people, and great food. At Brack Shop Tavern, you can replace gridlock with happy hour, challenge friends to a game of Pac Man in the game room, or enjoy a night out with live music and good drinks. Brack Shop Tavern is a unique venue space for parties and special events. They have the capacity to host groups of 15 to 150. Brack Shop Tavern is available for a full buyout or for private event space rentals. They host anything from happy hour events to late night blowouts.

The historic Adams Ave Theater, a movie theater turned music venue, has been restored and is heading back to its roots and is located in the music-centric neighborhood of normal heights. We prefer to think of the theater as a neighborhood meeting place with live entertainment, fancy movie nights, and private gatherings. The theater's 6,100 square feet of open space are accessible for any original ideas that may occur to you! When looking up at the lights, the iconic marquee that still adorns the building's façade pays homage to its ancient roots. Check out the authentic terrazzo, the ideal vintage accent for any occasion! A vibrant restaurant surrounded by ample outdoor space and lush greenery, Casa serves locally-sourced Mexican cuisine rooted in tradition. Colorful patterns and textiles make for a memorable space designed to suit a variety of gatherings. With a culinary team led by Chef Joe Bower, Casa offers an assortment of tacos made with tortillas from San Diego's Gabriel Tortilleria ranging from Chili Braised Brisket with shredded brisket, queso and pico de gallo to Al Pastor and Garlic Shrimp Rojo with pickled hot peppers and carrots, chipotle mayo, cabbage and Oaxaca cheese. Casa's menu also features a range of tortas, all with bread made fresh daily and sourced from Northgate Market. Highlights include Shredded Beef and Ham with chorizo, pepper jack, mayo, pickled onions and jalapeños and Soyrizo and Black Bean with queso, jalapeño, avocado and lettuce. A variety of salads and sides including creamed elote and nachos round out the menu. The restaurant's agua frescas take advantage of San Diego's fresh bounty of produce, made daily with locally grown ingredients. Casa is available for events with multiple designated spaces accommodating up to 200 guests. Features include an outdoor bar and conference style space with projector and screen capabilities.

Milo + Olive is a neighborhood bakery and pizzeria, offering a variety of morning breads and pastries, wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas and an ever-evolving Italian menu of small plates and seasonally-inspired dishes. The food represents the Rustic Canyon Family restaurant group’s continued commitment to truly seasonal, market-driven cuisine—a reflection of the best ingredients available from local farmers and vendors with sustainable practices. Executive Chef Connor Underwood turns out an array of wood-fired pizzas and vegetables, handmade pastas and small plates for sharing over lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu features a range of options, including egg dishes, alongside the bakery team's handcrafted breads, rustic pastries, and morning desserts. We can host partial or full buyouts, with indoor and outdoor options featuring a bounty of comforting dishes, like passed appetizers and cocktails or a family-style meal of entrées, sides and an assortment of desserts. The inside of the restaurant has the feel of a cozy, industrial workshop with original, red brick peeking underneath exposed wood rafters, an open kitchen showcasing two robin’s egg blue Mugnaini wood-burning ovens and whimsical ink and watercolor illustrations hung along the walls. The tented back patio is strung with twinkle lights and features a blue “love” mural by a local artist with potted plants and trees scattered throughout. Additionally, an elevated deck provides a semi-private area for more intimate gatherings.
