The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a one-of-a-kind 127-acre botanical garden and historical attraction in the midst of Arcadia's historic Rancho Santa Anita. Would you like to host your next event at the Arboretum's lovely and serene setting? Weddings, photography, videography, corporate gatherings, and special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, and showers can all be carried out at various locations throughout this beautiful park. For wedding ceremonies or celebrations, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden provides a naturally stunning and distinctive venue. The Bauer Lawn (with its surrounding fountains), the Queen Anne Cottage lawn, the Rose Garden, the Waterfall/Meadowbrook, and the Celebration Garden are also popular spots. Our romantic Rose Garden, tropical waterfall, and lush flowers and plants make for a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Our wedding season runs from April until October, when the clocks change for Daylight Savings. After 5:00 p.m., all ceremonies and receptions commence. You can pay entry and tour the various places at your leisure, or you can organize a private tour with the Wedding Coordinator. The Peacock Cafe is located in the garden and offers outside seating with a magnificent view of the Arboretum. The Arboretum does not allow outside food. The Café can accommodate catering for weddings and other special occasions booked at the Arboretum. However, guests are responsible for returning the space in a clean and acceptable condition by removing decorations, rentals, personal belongings, and any excessive trash to avoid additional charges. Designed with both elegance and functionality in mind, the space features high ceilings, sleek finishes, and a flexible open layout that can be tailored to a variety of event styles. The main hall accommodates up to 300 guests and can be arranged for banquet dining, cocktail receptions, theater-style seating, or open-floor gatherings. Large windows provide natural light during the day, while modern lighting and AV capabilities create an elevated atmosphere for evening events. Amenities include a private dressing room, professional sound and lighting systems, high-speed Wi-Fi, and on-site parking with space for 35 vehicles, plus additional street parking nearby. The venue also offers security cameras for guest safety and convenient access for vendors, making setup and breakdown efficient. Whether hosting an intimate celebration or a large-scale production, this space combines luxury design with practical amenities to ensure a seamless and memorable event experience. Leon Event Hall is equipped with security cameras and recording devices throughout the property to help ensure the safety and security of our guests and the venue. The La Jolla Woman's Club is a one-block walk from the beach in the heart of La Jolla Village. The club is a magical venue for any special occasion, with its exquisite private gardens, historic Irving Gill structure, and ocean view. Weddings, non-profit fundraisers, receptions, talks, banquets, holiday parties, life celebrations, retreats, and educational seminars are all held at the club. Weddings The ceremony garden in the south is beautiful, with colorful plantings and a decorative bridge. You can face the European style fountain or the old English oak tree in the front ceremonial garden. Floral balls or lanterns are commonly hung from the tree during rituals facing the tree. A third option is to face the ancient building's front doors, with the ceremony taking place in front of the famed arched arches. Our brides and grooms enjoy the use of our exclusive ladies and gentleman's lounges to relax with their attendants prior to the ceremony, whether it takes place on the adjacent seaside or within one of our gardens. Cocktail hour is popular on the North arbor-covered terrace, which has an ocean view. While guests enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, many couples prefer to walk to the beach for photos before returning to the club in time to make their spectacular entry. The main ballroom inside the clubhouse contains hardwood floors for dancing and a raised built-in stage for a band or DJ. Two adjacent parlors open into the ballroom and can be used to increase seating capacity or serve a buffet. Your guests will love taking a break outside on our covered veranda, on the ocean-view terrace, or wandering around the gardens, as you have exclusive use of the whole clubhouse and grounds for your wedding. The La Jolla Woman's Club has been a vital part of the La Jolla community since 1914. The rustic, market-driven menu features handmade pasta, pizzas, antipasti, housemade salumi, meat and fish plus dishes from the Jewish-Roman heritage known as “Cucina Ebraica.” The restaurant itself inhabits a building with over 100 years of history in San Francisco and was originally built as a stable after the great fire in 1906 and before our takeover of the space, an auto body shop. In addition to reception space, indoor and outdoor ceremony sites are available. Outdoors, couples may marry under a lush arbor within the venue's walled garden.
