The vessel accommodates 4 to 40 guests and is well suited for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate outings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, showers, reunions, and a range of other private gatherings. The main deck features custom woodwork, a bar, galley, and many windows, while the upper deck offers open-air seating with a canvas top and sides, festive lighting, and 360-degree river views. After nine months of restoration by Village Green Investments, the building opened as an event venue in September 2015, preserving three original bank vaults as a nod to its storied past alongside thoroughly modernized amenities. The venue offers two reception rooms suited to a range of event sizes. The larger room accommodates up to 150 guests seated or 250 for cocktail-style receptions; the smaller room fits up to 50 seated or 100 cocktail-style. Theodate transformed Hill-Stead into a public museum upon her death in 1946, preserving the house, its Impressionist art collection, and the surrounding landscape exactly as she intended.
