Stonebridge Wedding Venue sits on 40 acres along the Nolan River in Blum, Texas, about 45 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour from Dallas or Waco. The historic property takes its name from a stone bridge visible along the riverbank and is built around natural features including ponds, waterfalls, tree-covered paths, and unique rock formations rising above the water. At the heart of the grounds stands the Tree of Life, a live oak believed to be more than 200 years old and ranked among the ten largest of its kind in Texas; its outstretched branches can host up to 300 guests for a ceremony. For receptions, Tuxedo Hall offers 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with a balcony, large windows, a dance floor, and a kitchen and bar area for caterers, opening onto an outdoor deck through a run of French doors. Couples planning a smaller celebration can book The Boulders, an intimate setting among prehistoric rock formations above the river designed for micro-weddings and elopements. Flying V Ranch is a 450-acre working cattle ranch just outside Decatur, Texas, neighboring the LBJ National Grasslands. The property has belonged to the Warner family for three generations, and the venue took shape when mother-daughter team Sherry and Page Warner chose to open the ranch to weddings and private events after the loss of the family patriarch. The Reception Hall occupies the ranch's original auction barn, keeping its white shiplap walls, wood floors, and industrial beams alongside a chandelier for a mix of rustic Texas character and polish; it offers an indoor seated capacity of 280, with many adjacent outdoor spaces available for expansion. Just outside, an Outdoor Chapel opens through freestanding cathedral doors onto 360-degree ranch views, with white wooden pews, an arched pavilion with a working bell, and a pond backdrop. The Wildflower is situated on 50 gorgeous acres between Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork in Emory, Texas. Large open meadow tracks, massive Oak and Cedar trees, and a glistening pond surround our wedding venue. Nature and wildlife can be found in abundance. The scenery is magnificent. The Wildflower hosts are a group of six people who are related both by blood and by love. We are a close-knit family who puts in long hours and enjoys seeing people's dreams come true! This is a modern industrial farmhouse with a total area of 5,500 square feet. The 3,800-square-foot Wildflower Reception Room has 18-foot walls and a 31-foot ceiling peak. It features exposed beams as well as walls of glass windows and doors that look out over a two-acre pond filled with Large Mouth Bass. There's an indoor outdoor bar, as well as a 1,600 square foot wraparound covered deck with views of the meadow and pond. We purchased our Paradise home eight years ago with the intention of retiring there eventually. Our daughter urged us to build a wedding barn when she got engaged. The family spent a year preparing the location for the event, and it was even given the name Wedding Hill. Even in the midst of a torrential downpour, the couple's wedding under the massive oak tree overlooking the pond was breathtaking.
