Flying V Ranch

Flying V Ranch is a 450-acre working cattle ranch just outside Decatur, Texas, neighboring the LBJ National Grasslands. The property has belonged to the Warner family for three generations, and the venue took shape when mother-daughter team Sherry and Page Warner chose to open the ranch to weddings and private events after the loss of the family patriarch. The Reception Hall occupies the ranch's original auction barn, keeping its white shiplap walls, wood floors, and industrial beams alongside a chandelier for a mix of rustic Texas character and polish; it offers an indoor seated capacity of 280, with many adjacent outdoor spaces available for expansion. Just outside, an Outdoor Chapel opens through freestanding cathedral doors onto 360-degree ranch views, with white wooden pews, an arched pavilion with a working bell, and a pond backdrop. A Cocktail Garden strung with overhead lights, a central fountain, biergarten-style tables, and a fire pit rounds out the grounds, and a Covered Pavilion adapts easily to lounge, dining, ceremony, or dance-floor use. Flying V Ranch works exclusively with Boxwood Catering, its in-house food and beverage partner, for all events, and operates under Boxwood Hospitality.
