We are located on a former estate; the aesthetic of the property blends 1920s refinement with 1790s pastoral, boasting views of woodlands, lakes, rolling pastures and vistas extending towards Bear Mountain. Structures on the property include an 18th century farmhouse, a 150-year old classic red barn, an elegant estate home built in the 1920s, a boathouse and various cabins. You can use our historic venues for rehearsal dinners, birthdays, family gatherings and more. With 19 rooms available for overnight accommodation, you and your guests will enjoy a stay on a working farm while knowing that you are supporting an agricultural nonprofit with a mission that cultivates environmental resiliency and regional prosperity. The Mount is a vibrant cultural center that is also a historic house museum, and it offers a wide variety of tours, programs, and events for you to participate in and enjoy. The Mount was the setting for many of Edith Wharton's writings. We are a venue for weekend events that can provide sleeping accommodations for up to 50 guests and space for up to 100 additional guests during the event itself. Our property has the capacity to host a total of 150 guests when used as an outdoor venue and our event tent, and it can accommodate 60 guests when the event is held entirely inside. Our event tent is completely brand new and features the latest in tent technology. It has lovely sides with large windows that can be sealed off, making it possible to hold celebrations and ceremonies regardless of the weather outside. The tent has some rudimentary lighting and a flooring made of artificial turf installed in it. However, if you rent the space, you can easily add additional lighting and decorations. No matter how you choose to plan your special day at the Lake House, you can rest assured that it will be situated in the heart of the Berkshires, with all of the stunning locations that the region is known for within a half-drive hour's of the property. The company operates two distinct venues — Birch Hill Estate and Stablegate Farm & Vineyard — together offering nine unique indoor and outdoor event spaces suited to celebrations of every scale. Birch Hill Estate features two ballrooms and three covered pavilions set amid manicured grounds, while Stablegate Farm & Vineyard brings a 19th-century Dutch barn, a Lodge for intimate gatherings, and multiple outdoor spaces with views of the Catskill Mountains. Stonover Farm is a boutique luxury inn and event venue set on 10 acres in Lenox, Massachusetts, 0.7 miles from the main gate of Tanglewood. The property centers on a farmhouse built in 1890 — preserved to this day as a Lenox landmark — with additional guest quarters in the Rock Cottage and School House, offering five suites in all, each with a sitting room and full cooked-to-order breakfast served in the Creamery overlooking the pond. The farm hosts a select number of weddings each year, primarily in late May, June, September, and early October. Events typically unfold across the full weekend: a rehearsal dinner in the Barn Gallery, a ceremony on the barn ramp, cocktail reception on the lawn by the spring-fed duck pond, dinner and dancing in the historic barn, and an after-party around the fire pit. The Barn seats up to 175 guests for dinner with ample space for a full bar, band, and dance floor. An event coordinator and approved caterers are required, and all five suites are reserved for the wedding party across the full weekend.

The greenhouse is structurally tied into an adjoining 2,000-square-foot barn, which serves as a multi-use event space with a bar and five bathrooms, as well as the lobby for The Greenhouses hotel—with white walls, modern sconces, and wood floors. Behind the greenhouse, an open-air, walled patio is an additional space for wedding proceedings—ceremony, cocktail hour, what have you. The stone patio connects to The Greenhouses Kitchen, built on the site of a former cement block warehouse, where we serve breakfast for our guests each morning.
