The Oncenter is Central New York's premier convention and entertainment facility, occupying three city blocks in downtown Syracuse. The complex unites three distinct venues: the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, the Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial, and the John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters. The Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center offers 100,000 square feet of adaptable space — from expansive exhibit halls suited for trade shows and large-scale conventions to a ballroom and dedicated breakout meeting rooms — with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and in-house catering by the Savor team. An underground tunnel links the Convention Center to the Arena and Theaters, keeping the full complex connected for multi-day events. The Upstate Medical Arena opened in 1951 as a veteran's memorial and has been home to the Syracuse Crunch since 1994, accommodating up to 7,000 guests across concert, sporting, and assembly configurations. The Civic Center Theaters offer three performance spaces — the 2,117-seat Crouse Hinds Theater, the 463-seat Carrier Theater, and the Bevard Studio — suited for theatrical productions, film screenings, ceremonies, and lectures. The Oncenter specializes in private events and weddings for 150 or more guests.

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a wedding reception, a social evening with your friends, an unique production or professional networking event may all be held in this vast, multipurpose space, which is perfect for any sort of business or social event. In addition, it features a fantastic bar that is candle lit and state of the art. This bar offers a relaxing and elegant atmosphere and can be either open or concealed from view. The cocktail hall has a capacity of 275 persons and is equipped with a pre-function lobby. There are no Cocktail Hall hours on Fridays from 7pm to 10pm or Saturdays from 9am to 12pm (except on holidays). Outside catering is not permitted due to the presence of an in-house caterer in the facility.
