Established in 1908, Portland Yacht Club is Oregon's oldest yacht club, set on the Columbia River overlooking Tomahawk Island with moorage for more than 200 vessels. The historic clubhouse offers a distinctive waterfront backdrop for weddings, corporate gatherings, and milestone celebrations, and does not require membership to book. Clackamas River Farm is a special events venue set on 45 historic acres of pasture along the Barlow Road, a section of the Oregon Trail, near Eagle Creek, Oregon. The property is surrounded by old-growth trees and sits in a valley with nearly half a mile of frontage along the Clackamas River, giving couples a private, pastoral setting for their celebration. At the heart of the farm is an 1890 Victorian farmhouse alongside a big red barn, both set among the property's fields and gardens. The covered barn area seats up to 200 guests, with additional uncovered seating available and canopy tents available for rent, and the farm's 45 acres offer a number of possible ceremony sites. Rental includes event coordination, event insurance, garbage service, and portable restrooms, and the venue can refer clients to preferred planners, caterers, and florists. Clackamas River Farm books only one event per weekend, giving clients Friday for setup, Saturday for their event, and Sunday for pickup so they can celebrate without feeling rushed.

Tucked into Azalea Park above the Port of Brookings-Harbor, Capella By The Sea is an intimate, glass-walled chapel built for weddings, vow renewals, christenings, and memorial services. Native wood and stone construction frames wide windows facing the Chetco River and the Pacific Ocean, setting each ceremony against a wooded, coastal backdrop. The chapel was donated to the City of Brookings in 2009 by Elmo Williams as a memorial to his wife, Lorraine, and was designed by architects Maurice Jennings and David McKee, associates of the noted architect E. Fay Jones. Its soaring wood-beam ceiling and stone half-walls carry that architectural pedigree into a small, quiet space suited to close-knit gatherings. Capella By The Sea seats up to 40 guests on fixed benches, with a maximum occupancy of 49. It rents by the hour year-round, with a two-hour minimum, and outside of rented events is open to the public seasonally for visitors to view the chapel and its setting.

Set in a former 1947 stone church on the corner of Fifth Avenue and East Main Street in downtown Hillsboro, the Walters Cultural Arts Center pairs red-stone architecture, stained glass, and custom woodwork ceiling arches with a concert-quality sound system and an on-site fine art gallery. The building opened as an arts center in 2004 and today houses a 200-seat theatre, a gallery, four classroom studios, and outdoor terraces. The Walters hosts weddings, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras, galas, fundraisers, memorials, and meetings, with private rentals available on weekends. The Theatre accommodates up to 200 guests and includes use of the kitchen, lobby, and outdoor terraces, while the more intimate Gallery suits gatherings of up to 50.
