The University Club has been part of the University of Pittsburgh's Oakland campus since 1923, when the club — founded downtown in 1890 — relocated into its current limestone building, part of the Schenley Farms National Historic District. Today the eight-story clubhouse operates as the campus's dedicated wedding and event venue, welcoming up to 180 guests. Ballroom A and Ballroom B anchor the venue, both furnished with imported crystal chandeliers, stone columns, and vaulted ceilings; Ballroom B, the larger of the two, hosts weddings, receptions, and conferences, while Ballroom A suits ceremonies, presentations, and smaller sit-down events.
