Lovely Day is an elegant and industrial large-capacity venue in the Longfellow Neighborhood of Oakland (near MacArthur BART). As a former catering company and restaurant, we have our own expertly-staffed industrial kitchens on site, capable of serving up to 10,000 meals per day at full capacity. We hold an ABC Type 47 liquor license, and are pleased to serve a full bar of cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic mocktails. Amplified music is allowed late at our venue. — We wanted a place where you could dance with your best friend to that one song from college. A place where you could light sparklers while shooting off confetti cannons. A charming space to spend time with people, have some great food and tasty cocktails. Fancy six course dinners eaten in pajamas are encouraged here, because we know a fine dining experience doesn't have to be snooty or uncomfortable — it just needs to be good. Chambers is the ideal meeting spot for any occasion, since it is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just 3 blocks from the San Francisco Civic Center and 6 streets from Union Square. Smaller parties feel pleasant in any of our little corners, even though we have ample capacity to accommodate celebrations of 700 or more attendees. Our Spaces The Horseshoe: The horseshoe is the focal point of our lounge and is ideal for informal meetings of 5-30 people. This location, which is just next to our DJ Booth and Lounge Bar, can serve as a semi-private home base for your party. The Lounge: This is where the party takes place! Our lounge has a capacity of 20-150 people and can be rented out on a semi-exclusive or full-exclusive basis. To suit any type of event, there is a complete bar, DJ booth, and an 80" flat screen television. The Patio: Drink in the gorgeous view of the pool and palm trees in our private oasis while enjoying cocktails at our super secret pop-up bar! Worried about Karl the Fog? We have wind barriers and outside heaters that will keep you comfortable while you enjoy the party. Each patio can fit up to 40-50 seated guests. The Courtyard: The pool-side courtyard, which can hold gatherings of up to 500 people and can be customized to fulfill practically any purpose, is ideal for bigger scale events.
