Phillips Event Center sits on a 7.27-acre property in Bryan, Texas, anchored by the City Course, an 18-hole championship golf course first opened in 1971 and designed by architect Dr. Marvin H. The Ostreum is a Roman amphitheatre built in the first century AD. Weddings and special events are now being hosted at the venue, which opened its doors in June. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, The Ostreum is the second venue owned and operated by Lynsie Blau. It is the sister (not the twin) of BRIK Venue. Ostreum is the latin word for oyster, and it also the name of the city in which it is situated. Our bespoke iron and glass doors, which serve as the barn's main entrance and exit, are what set us apart. They're responsible for our barn's industrial/modern vibe, which we adore. The ambience for your wedding is set by 33 ft high ceilings with magnificent industrial teardrop glass chandeliers. Our barn also has 22 pane-less glass windows, some of which are almost 10 feet long, ensuring that your memories are completely captured. CHAPEL Our chapel features bench seating and can accommodate up to 200 people. It has a gloomy black exterior with gold hardware details and wide windows (to let your white outfit sparkle!). The interior is light and spacious, with industrial and modern design elements that nicely match the character of our barn welcoming area. The climate-controlled chapel is conveniently positioned next to the Dove Hollow Estate barn. Take in your indoor ceremony before heading over to the Barn for your reception! OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE If you want to have an outside ceremony, come out via our barn doors and meet your love under our oak tree. Electrical outlets are readily located throughout the venue for any DJ or ceremony needs. The seating for the outside event will be provided by our clients. 1102 East is a wedding and event venue set on a historic property in East Austin, beneath a canopy of hundred-year-old pecan and native elm trees. Once home to the landscape design firm Big Red Sun, the grounds have been reimagined for events while keeping the character of the original 1930s bungalow and its mature gardens. The venue pairs indoor and open-air spaces for weddings, private events, chef-inspired dinner parties, and intimate live music concerts. A barn-inspired, steel-framed open-air structure offers a covered setting for dinners, ceremonies, and dance parties, while a newly expanded front garden entrance adds more than 2,500 square feet of landscaped event space. The restored bungalow serves as a flexible spot for private dinners, art exhibits, pop-ups, and bridal party preparation. Wedding packages range from a single-day time block to a full weekend rental that includes rehearsal dinner space and use of the bungalow, with a day-of site manager included.
