The city of Santa Fe Springs reconstructed the park's Victorian-era landscape using historic photographs, resulting in a setting that includes beautifully landscaped gardens with lattice arches and cherub statuary, water fountains, a carriage barn built in the Gothic style, and a plant-filled conservatory that serves as a popular backdrop for wedding ceremonies. The park accommodates a variety of events — from wedding ceremonies and receptions to photo sessions, corporate picnics, and private parties. The Plant Conservatory, originally built around 1870, provides an intimate ceremony setting, while the historic Carriage Barn and surrounding park grounds suit larger gatherings. A restored AT&SF steam locomotive and railroad caboose add a distinctive character to the site. The caboose itself is available as a rentable event space for smaller celebrations. The distillery of Malahat Spirits provides a one-of-a-kind environment for a memorable celebration. Malahat is unlike any other event venue in the city. Malahat Spirits is a throwback to the days of Prohibition-era speakeasies. The area is authentic, complete with period items. Malahat offers unique cocktail mixes and tastings of their award-winning rums and whiskeys as part of their catering services. To manufacture the finest spirits, they search out rare ingredients, mix ancient procedures with experimentation, and handcraft everything from scratch. Make a reservation for a private event in our distillery and tasting room, such as a birthday, wedding, reunion, celebration, or work. Even during tasting room hours, we can provide private experiences for groups of 6 or more. During Prohibition, the Malahat was known as the "Queen of Rum Row," a five-masted schooner that brought the finest alcohol to Southern California. We commissioned two copper pot stills to help us realize our idea. The huge dual column copper pot still was custom built to fit inside the production facility's skylight, which was the only place in the distillery tall enough to accommodate the towering copper columns. A smaller "experimental" copper still was created for small batches of research and development in order to develop our unique recipes.

St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery

8440 St Helena Hwy, St Helena, CA 94574, USA

As an Estate Winery, St. Supéry has the highest level of control over both the grape growing and winemaking processes, allowing them to manage their wine from berry to bottle. The estate vineyards, Rutherford Estate and Dollarhide Estate, provide every drop that goes into St. Supéry wines. To be labeled “estate,” a wine must be produced entirely from grapes owned by the winery and made and bottled on the winery property. This high level of control, from grape to glass, ensures the world-class wine quality for which they are known for. St. Supéry’s Rutherford Estate Vineyard surrounds the winery in the celebrated Rutherford wine growing region along Highway 29. Thirty-five acres are planted with red Bordeaux varieties: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot and cabernet franc. With three soil types and an elevation of 154 feet, Rutherford Estate Vineyard enjoys a Mediterranean climate of warm days, cool nights and a long, dry growing season. These conditions are ideal for the red Bordeaux varieties, which are used for the estate's red blend, Élu, as well as St. Supéry’s Rutherford Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc — three of their exceptional single vineyard bottlings. Located in the northeastern hills of Napa Valley, the Dollarhide Estate Ranch is a valley within a valley and has 1,530-plus acres, 500 planted to the vineyard. The oldest vines at Dollarhide Estate, now more than 30 years old, produce the full-bodied, robust cabernet sauvignon and distinctive sauvignon blanc wines upon which St. Supéry’s reputation was built. Vineyard elevations ranging from 600 to 1,100 feet above sea level, seven different soil series, 13 soil variations and unique microclimates, combine at Dollarhide to create an especially accommodating growing environment for Bordeaux grape varieties. During CEO, Emma Swain’s and Vice President of Winemaking and Vineyards, Michael Scholz’s tenure with St. Supéry, the winery has undergone a transformation in quality with extensive investments in the vineyard, winery and technology. The quality of the wines has never been better, which is reflected through highly acclaimed accolades including Robert Parker, Jr.’s comments praising the winery for “dramatically raising the quality level of their offerings.” St. Supéry Estate’s wines are 100% estate from grape to bottle. They have complete control over how our grapes are grown and how our wine is made from crush through bottling. We strive to keep our land pristine and our wines at the highest quality and are proud to have both our land and winery certified Napa Green. Environmental stewardship is incredibly important at St. Supéry, and they strive each day to “walk the walk” in the vineyards, in the cellar and even in the business offices.
