The Plaza Arts Center occupies a renovated schoolhouse built in 1916 in Eatonton, Georgia. After a decade of restoration, the building reopened in March 2008 as a nonprofit arts and cultural center dedicated to bringing artistic, educational, and entertainment opportunities to the Lake Country communities. The center's facilities include a 500-seat theater with floor and balcony seating, a reception hall with a catering kitchen, a gallery and lobby area, the Old School History Museum, and a community board room.
