Payne Meadows, located approximately 12 miles west of Murphy, NC, is your rustic barn wedding and event venue serving the western North Carolina communities of Murphy, Andrews, Hayesville and Robbinsville, NC as well as Blue Ridge, Blairsville and Hiawasse, GA to Cleveland, Copperhill and Tellico Plains, TN. Our close proximity to these towns make us a great fit to host your wedding day, elopment, destination wedding, birthday celebration, family reunion, anniversary, or any celebration hoping to be cherished forever. The property consists of 38 acres of rolling pastures split in half by a cool running stream that twist and turns throughout the property. The property's elevated portions showcases beautiful mountainous views of western North Carolina for miles while overlooking the entire property. The property is owned by Ronnie & Linda Payne and the venue is currently operated by Ms. Linda and son, Robert Payne. The property has been in the family for over six generations dating back to the middle 1800's. Our earliest known Payne heir first settled in the Hothouse community in 1853 on land given to Nehemiah Payne via North Carolina state land grants. Ronnie's parents, Elva & Harold Payne, built the barn located on the property in the early 1950's and worked the land raising cattle and horses. The barn was a symbol of pride and hard work to the elder Harold Payne. Elva & Harold raised four children on the farm that sustained the family for many years before logging timber became the preferred job of choice. Following the passing of Ms. Elva, the farm place was left to Ronnie who then decided to save and restore the beloved barn that was so vital in its time to the property. As caretakers of the property, Ronnie & Linda began to fall in love again so to speak with the property and its beauty.

Rosa Lee Manor is a family-owned wedding and event venue set on 200 acres of historic farmland in the Blue Ridge Mountains foothills, five miles from Pilot Mountain, North Carolina and approximately 30 minutes north of Winston-Salem. The property has been in the family since the early 1800s; the venue was founded in 1994 and named in memory of Rosa Lee Adams Hunter, the owners' paternal grandmother. The grounds offer several ceremony settings — beneath a gazebo, beside a weeping willow, at an arched garden entrance with a fountain, or in front of a rustic board fence — surrounded by rose and perennial gardens with water features and mountain views. At the center of the property, the 3,000-square-foot Carriage House provides a dedicated indoor space for receptions and ceremonies, with 20-foot ceilings, oversized barn doors, and walls of glass overlooking the surrounding landscape. The Arbors Events is a farm and woodland event destination set on a 112-acre tree farm in Cleveland, North Carolina. What began as a tree nursery in 2003 evolved into an event venue shaped by thousands of ornamental and shade trees, manicured lawns, majestic oaks, and perennial gardens spread across western Rowan County, near Lake Norman. The venue's primary event space, The Arbors, is a custom-built banquet facility constructed from stone, reclaimed barn wood, and cedar shakes. Its 4,700-square-foot heated and cooled interior centers on a grand fireplace and includes a full bar and catering prep area, while the adjacent outdoor spaces feature a wildflower field ceremony area, two fire pits, and a three-acre pond. Recognized as a North Carolina Century Farm with property heritage dating to 1803, the setting pairs an authentic barn with mature pine forests, poplar trees, and rolling pastures crossed by brick walkways. The venue began as Glenda Miller's family home, and the original barn was built to shelter the family's horses before becoming the heart of the property's celebrations. Its main barn anchors the space with a 16-foot rock fireplace and a 6-foot rock fire pit, hosting weddings of roughly 20 to 300 guests across intimate gatherings and large-scale events alike.
