Opened by the Bliss Family in May 2004, Crystal Lake Golf Club sits on Route 102 in Burrillville, Rhode Island, overlooking Crystal Lake and the course's 18th green. The 23,000-square-foot clubhouse combines golf, dining, and event space under one roof, giving weddings and private events a waterfront backdrop most banquet halls can't match. The main floor holds the newly renovated Waterfront Ballroom, which seats up to 225 guests with sweeping lake views, the more intimate Wisteria Room for gatherings up to 60, and the Tavern, an on-site restaurant open to the public for lunch and dinner. Outside, a lakeside gazebo hosts ceremonies, and couples can add a pontoon boat ride or an antique car arrival for a personal touch on their wedding day. Kirkbrae Country Club sits in Rhode Island's Blackstone Valley in Lincoln, about 15 minutes north of Providence. Established in 1961, the club's clubhouse opened in 2000 and went through full renovations in 2008 and again in 2020, when the events facility was redesigned by J. Brice Design International with Turkish light fixtures, custom wall sconces, and a neutral palette suited to a range of event styles. Guests gather in ballrooms with large windows overlooking the ever-changing Blackstone Valley landscape and one of the largest dance floors in New England. Kirkbrae's event spaces range from the 35-guest Charcoal Room, suited to intimate luncheons and anniversary dinners, up through the 380-guest Grand Ballroom for large weddings and corporate galas, with a tented patio, North Ballroom, and South Ballroom in between for showers, birthdays, and milestone events of varying sizes. A private wedding suite gives wedding parties a space to relax and get ready before the celebration. Beyond its event spaces, Kirkbrae is also a private country club with a par-72 championship golf course originally designed by Geoffrey Cornish in 1960, an Olympic-size heated pool, four tennis courts, and two pickleball courts.
