Cascades Manor is a historic event venue in Jackson, Michigan, set within the grounds of Sparks Foundation Park on the southwest side of the city. The building dates to 1932, when it opened as the Cascades Clubhouse for an 18-hole championship golf course — designed by regional architect Claire Allen and built as a community gathering place. After the county constructed a new clubhouse in the 1990s, local businessman Frank Myers led a restoration effort that established the Cascades Park Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the building for future use. Three indoor spaces accommodate events from 30 to 250 guests. The Myers Room seats up to 250 guests and features panoramic park views through windows on three sides, with an optional dance floor available for events up to 175 guests. The Sparks Room seats up to 60 and centers on original hardwood floors, exposed wood beams, and a working fireplace — well suited to wedding ceremonies, small receptions, and intimate dinners. The East Wing accommodates up to 30 guests for showers, meetings, and smaller gatherings. Full-service catering, bartending, and professional AV equipment are available across all three spaces.

The War Memorial is a nonprofit event venue and cultural institution set on the historic Alger Estate along Lake St. Clair in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Founded to honor those who served and to enrich its surrounding community, the organization marked its 75th anniversary in 2024 and welcomes approximately 100,000 visitors annually. For private events, the property offers a range of distinct spaces. The Fred M. Alger Center, which opened in 2022, houses a ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake, accommodating up to 250 guests, alongside a Community Room that extends celebrations by up to 200 more. The adjacent Historic Alger House — a preserved early-1900s family residence featuring hand-carved moldings, grand stone fireplaces, and French doors opening to the lakefront lawn — hosts intimate gatherings of up to 70 guests. The lakefront lawn and gardens, framed by Lake St. Clair, serves as a setting for ceremonies and open-air cocktail receptions of up to 400 guests. In-house catering and a full-service bar are available on site, led by Executive Chef Joe Paxton.

Built for one of Michigan's wealthiest men of his era — a lumber baron whose operations spanned multiple states — the estate now operates as both a fine dining restaurant and a full-service event venue, carrying forward the character of its Gilded Age origins. The mansion's interior encompasses multiple distinctly decorated dining rooms, accommodating private gatherings from 10 to 350 guests. Three distinct areas define the property: The Restaurant, which hosts dinners and private functions within the historic rooms; The GhostbaR on the third floor, a bar space with walk-in access; and The Gardens, a seasonal outdoor oasis with patios and deck space suited for cocktail receptions and warm-weather celebrations. Private events are supported by a dedicated Events team offering customizable catering menus, complete A/V capabilities for presentations, and professional staffing throughout.
