The Variety Works is a historic event venue in Madison, Georgia, originally constructed in the 1870s as a manufacturing facility and thoughtfully restored to serve as a one-of-a-kind gathering space. Alegre Farm is a center for agriculturally-based education, agritourism, and economic development as well as a beautiful place to gather for special moments like weddings, birthday parties, vow renewals, and corporate or community events. Purchased in 2004 by Juan and Pilar Quintero the farm was meant to give their three boys more space while fostering an appreciation for organic, healthy living. The farm serves the local community as well as surrounding counties by providing education and hands-on experience for children and adults through field trips, camps, and workshops. The goal is to not only enhance the essential process of farming but also to educate on the origins of what goes on our plates. Alegre farm offers two spacious outdoor pavilions as well as a large banquet hall to serve the community. The Corry House is a privately-owned wedding venue set on 500 acres along the Ogeechee River in Union Point, Georgia. The main house dates to 1869 and has remained in the Corry family for generations; the property has hosted weddings exclusively since 2011. The venue offers two outdoor ceremony sites — an open meadow and a wooded forest clearing — along with an air-conditioned barn for receptions and an outdoor patio for dancing. Both ceremony sites accommodate up to 200 guests, with most weddings hosting between 125 and 175. The residents of the town questioned if a structure composed of such material could possibly last. It's been called The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Company, the Grinder, and the Goldkist Building over the years. Our venue, which first opened its doors in 2008, was designed exclusively for unique gatherings. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail preserve and maintain the authenticity and charm of the turn of the century. 550 Trackside was built in 1904 as a Cotton Warehouse and is made of Stone Mountain granite.
