At The Birchstone, we are family. We recognize and understand the importance of your special event. That’s why every member of our team is dedicated to making every occasion extraordinary. The Birchstone has three rooms with seated capacity from 80 to 300 guests and full venue capacity of over 400. For large celebrations such as a wedding, bar/bat mitzvahs and other special events, the Main Hall accommodates up to 220 with a dance floor. For meetings, luncheons, memorial services, bar/bat mitzvahs and other special events, we are able to arrange our spaces to accommodate your guest list with a large ballroom, intimate party spaces, and outdoor seating.

Built in 1908 by the famed architect, Howard Van Doren Shaw, Glen Rowan House features elegant spaces for any occasion. The main floor of the house can accommodate as few as 10 for an intimate dinner and up to 120 for a cocktail reception. The second floor features a conference room for six people and three overnight rooms, each with a private bath. The extensive grounds are ideal for picnics or tented events up to 250 people.

Le Colonial Lake Forest is a celebration of the seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920's. Heralded as "an escapist’s paradise," the famed French-Vietnamese institution is designed to capture Vietnam's era of romance and soft architecture in the heart of the charming Market Square of Lake Forest. Le Colonial opened its doors in July 2022, in a historical two-story structure originally built in 1901 to serve as the community’s fire and police station. The free standing building includes over 12,500 square feet of lavish palm-filled dining and picturesque banquet event space, as well as a large outdoor garden for alfresco dining and lounging by the Parrot bar. Since 1972, Gorton has been proud to enrich the lives of residents through cultural arts, education and charitable service. Today, Gorton is one of only a few privately-funded community centers in the United States and serves as a unique partnership between community volunteers and The City of Lake Forest. Gorton Community Center, a private nonprofit 501c3 organization, relies on the generosity of area residents and business to support building improvements, programs and services which are offered in the historic building owned by the City of Lake Forest.

Based in historic downtown Long Grove, the Fred Astaire Studio of Long Grove boasts an elegant, high-end studio space decorated in luxurious lighting and decor for your next event and party! Our studio is perfect for hosting your next Shower, Birthday Party, Mitzvah, Corporate Event, Quinceañera, etc. Our 1,600 sq. ft. “Main Ballroom" and 800 sq. ft. “Cocktail Ballroom" and are decoratively arranged in a sparkling and glistening design to set the perfect scene for an upcoming event or party. Our space includes 3 bathrooms (2 women, 1 men), a fully arranged granite-countertop kitchenette, $20,000 worth of chandeliers between both ballrooms, all bamboo flooring in the two ballrooms, full sound systems, and tile flooring in the waiting and "midsections" of the studio. Being located in the heart of Long Grove provides you as the patron to a plentiful amount of options for exceptional food, drinks, and a party atmosphere for both younger as well as adult parties. TSR is an upscale banquet hall venue; every inch of this breathtaking space was designed to encapsulate the glamorous life. If you are looking for a space that will wow your guests, this is the place to be. The space is over 6000 sq ft, has a private foyer, spacious ballroom, private suite, large kitchenette for catering, private coat room and more. This is a modular space that can be transformed to suit any special event from weddings, anniversaries, birthday's, or corporate events. If you don't need that much space, we offer our large foyer as a separate space for intimate events & meetings. TSR has 11 bathroom stalls, including ADA and a family room designed for women with children. The bathrooms have plenty of lighting, large bowl sinks and waterfall faucets. This space has everything you need from 72 inch round tables, 8 ft rectangular tables, standard black chair or clear chiavari seating. We have five 80 inch tv's for your viewing pleasure, a 12x12 dance floor, pipe and drape backdrops and more.

They all came together in 1993, when Sam Elias, our founder, moved from Florida to Chicago and opened up what the people were demanding: 4,000 square feet to bump cars, slam dunk, cross check, laugh, eat, drink, and simply…have fun. A needed release from the daily 9 to 5 grind and Tuesday bowling night, our first location in Lombard, Illinois was so popular, we opened up another factory of fun near downtown Chicago as well as Vernon Hills. But the people demanded more. So we delivered. To the delight of adrenaline junkies and lovers of unadulterated fun everywhere, we added laser tag arenas with multiple levels, billiards, bowling, and arcade games. The people were now content.
