As a native New Yorker (with deep family connections to Chicago) Homer Murray grew up with a passion for food and strong genetic desire to have a good time. After years of experience as the Sous Chef at local favorite Roebling Tea Room and becoming Chef/Partner at River Styx in Brooklyn, he opened his own place 21 Greenpoint in 2016. Located right next to the Transmitter Park waterfront in Greenpoint, Brooklyn - ‘21’ quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Homer’s focus has always been on creating flavorful, seasonal, unpretentious fare. This ethos and effort has placed 21 Greenpoint and Murray as a Michelin Bib Gourmand award-winner consistently since 2018. 21 Greenpoint is a New York City Bistro in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating areas. We offer partial buyouts for up to 45 seated guests indoors and up to 20 guests outdoors on our patio. A full buyout is always an option for more than 50 guests.
