The grounds preserve the Sauers family homestead, including timber-framed barns dating to the 1850s, an apple orchard with 45 varieties, a fishing pond, and more than three miles of trails winding through hardwood forest and prairie grassland. Sauers Barn, a century barn at the heart of the property, is available for private rentals from May through October.
