Chateau Michele

Chateau Michele is a family-owned event venue in Canton, Ohio, with more than 30 years of operation. Billing itself as "Affordable Elegance at a Canton Landmark," the venue hosts events ranging from casual social gatherings to formal wedding ceremonies and receptions, accommodating up to 220 guests across its three rooms and outdoor gazebo. The venue's three indoor spaces each offer a different character. The 2,400-square-foot Large Banquet Room handles full-scale receptions, while the 625-square-foot Staircase Room — featuring 22-foot ceilings, leaded glass windows, a brass chandelier, and hardwood floors surrounding a T-shaped staircase — suits ceremonies and smaller celebrations of up to 40 guests. The window-lined Sunroom, also 625 square feet, provides a relaxed, garden-inspired atmosphere well suited to breakfasts and luncheons. All food is prepared fresh on site by an in-house chef, with options including buffets, chef's dinners, served luncheons, and Victorian teas. The venue handles linens, china, setup, and cleanup, and guests are welcome to bring their own cake, DJ, or band.
