Our objective is to create outstanding experiences for our clients while giving back to our community. Since the venue's establishment in 2010, all event proceeds have gone directly toward funding the programs and offerings of ACH Child and Family Services. Our facility serves couples throughout North Texas and is conveniently situated inside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, just a few minutes from downtown Fort Worth. The tranquil, secluded 20-acre site offers three event locations in one, making it an attractive, distinctive, and reasonably priced backdrop for your special day. The Chapel, which dates back to 1958, is surrounded by Neo Tudor buildings from the 1920s. Our magnificent building has cast stone arches and a beautiful steeple with a working bell. 200 people can be seated in this antique chapel. The area provides a traditional atmosphere for your event thanks to its vaulted ceilings and gorgeous stained glass. The Reception Hall also has stained glass windows and seating for 150 seated guests with space for dancing or 200 cocktail-style visitors. This place is perfect for small gatherings because of its open layout. The garden's charming pergola is the perfect place to dance the night away under lovely café lighting. The campus's new Jo & Holt Hickman Center, which offers greater indoor space for banquets, meetings, conferences, corporate gatherings, quinceaneras, and other occasions, was unveiled in 2018. Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments. We provide a wide range of ticketed events. We recently established Communion Unplugged, a monthly music series. Santa's Breakfast, Sharing Table multi-course pairing dinners, sporting watch parties, and so on are all on the list. In terms of private gatherings, we can assist with almost any event under 200 people. To mention a few, operas, high school graduations, weddings, receptions, sweet sixteens, baby showers, book launch parties, company parties, Christmas parties, High School dances, church events, and a 50th wedding anniversary... Built over a 55-year period beginning in 1924, the four buildings that make up Lone Star Gas Lofts are situated on a full city block bounded by Harwood, Wood, St. Paul and Jackson Streets in downtown Dallas. Two of the structures, the Lone Star Gas Co. and Dallas Gas Company buildings, are historic landmarks and fine examples of Lang and Witchell architecture with beautiful Art Deco details and are Dallas’ latest historic landmarks to be revived by Hamilton Properties in partnership with Central Dallas CDC.The Lone star Gas Co. Building is a thirteen story Art Deco structure with rich street entrances bearing ornate light fixtures. The elaborately appointed lobby once served as the bill payment area, back in the age when paying your bill meant taking a trip downtown, and still has soaring columns with ornamental check stands, a high beamed ceiling in brilliant colors and relief sculptures carved into the stone walls. This part of the historic building is now home to The Carlisle Room. Opulent is the best way to describe this newly renovated downtown venue. Twenty foot ceilings, terrazzo floors and marble pillars are just a few of the highlights of this historic 1930's Art Deco design. The addition of a private bridal and groom's suite is what it means to have your cake and eat it too.
