As part of The 203 Project: A Sustainable Showhouse at the DCA, our rooms have been newly decorated by professional interior designers, fully air-conditioned and all look out into the garden. The property has a sweeping front lawn that is fabulous for family and bridal party photos, and a secret garden is perfect for the first look. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Meadowlands at the DCA is a 15,000 square foot, Regency-style estate on over eight acres of property. The facilities include a spacious Garden Wing with attached commercial kitchen, boardroom and intimate library, and rooms which look out to its formal garden. The property also includes a working Lord & Burnham greenhouse (original to the estate), and a four-acre bird sanctuary and nature trail.

The Viscusi, a 4,000-square-foot gallery space, offers plenty of room for creativity and customisation during your session. During the warmer months, the Terrace is the ideal location for your outdoor party. The Terrace, with its approximately 10,000 square feet of area, may be arranged to meet your specific requirements. The Central Pavilion, which has over 250 hands-on exhibits, serves as an inviting event background for up to 1,000 people for cocktail receptions. Wave Hill offers the most romantic setting in New York City for your unforgettable wedding. Your ceremony takes place at the Pergola on the Great Lawn, with your cocktail hour either there or moved to the Lower Lawn or Kate French Terrace at historic Wave Hill House. Seated dinner is held in Armor Hall, which has a capacity capped at 130 guests, including a small band and dance floor in the Hall. If you choose to locate the dance floor nearby in the adjacent Mark Twain Room, the capacity is then 180 seated guests. Tented options are available at an additional cost for larger events up to 230 guests. Renting Wave Hill for a private weekend event requires a Wave Hill Membership at the $10,000 level. The tax-deductible portion is $9,748, and provides the wedding host with one year of Member benefits at this special level. In addition to Membership, the rental fee for a private evening event on the weekend is $8,000. Guest arrival begins at 6pm with departure at midnight. Wave Hill’s exclusive caterer, Great Performances, is dedicated to collaborating with you to create a personalized, quality experience for your guests. Passionate about culinary presentation, tastes and flavors that are crafted to enrich the occasion, Great Performances offers a proprietary element of style and innovative design that turns catering into an art-form and events into celebrations. The Norwalk Art Space is an exciting new museum and hub for the arts. Our mission is to promote under-represented local artists, offer free art classes to under-served students and provide the public with a welcoming space to enjoy art and music. The Norwalk Art Space at ADK House welcomes private events. We offer a contemporary, airy, and artistic new event space, newly renovated in 2020/21, and conveniently located off I-95 in Norwalk. Featuring a 2,200sf gallery, versatile loft space, separate 450sf dining area, and outdoor patio, ADK House offers many flexible options for your next special event. Exclusive catering at ADK House is provided by Marcia Selden Catering (www.marciaselden.com).
