Cacapon Resort State Park

- 1 Ballroom
- 8 Resorts
- 8 Total Spaces
Cacapon Resort State Park spreads across more than 6,000 acres in the shadow of a folded mountain ridge in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle, and two very different buildings anchor it. The Old Inn was the first lodge built in the West Virginia state parks and forests system, and it still wears that history in its hand-hewn log beams and tongue-and-groove walls of wormy chestnut and knotty pine; twelve bedrooms and a single large gathering space host groups and reunions of up to 32. At the foot of Cacapon Mountain stands the system's newest lodge, a 120-room building with indoor and outdoor dining, a full spa, and views of the golf course. For events, the resort sets aside 11,931 square feet of conference space in rooms that range from an 18-seat boardroom to a hall seating 200 for a banquet, backed by on-site audio-visual equipment and event-planning assistance for weddings and reunions. Surrounding it all are a Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course laid out in 1974, the Healing Waters Spa, two stocked fishing lakes, and a swimming beach, a deep bench of activities for guests with time between events.

The Resort At Glade Springs
255 Resort Dr, Daniels, WV 25832, USA- Spaces for 100-500 Guests
- 1 Ballroom
- 3 Outdoor Spaces
- 7 Total Spaces
The Resort at Glade Springs occupies 4,100 acres in the Appalachian Mountains of Daniels, West Virginia, a short drive from New River Gorge National Park. It brings together, on a single property, most of what a multi-day celebration calls for: championship golf, a full-service spa, on-site dining, outdoor adventures, and lodging that ranges from guest rooms to suites and standalone vacation rentals. For weddings, meetings, and private events, the resort keeps more than 15,000 square feet of flexible space across two hubs, the Inn and the Clubhouse. Indoor options run from the chandelier-lit Bright Ballroom to the crescent-shaped Glade Room and the wood-beamed Woodland Room; ceremonies and receptions can also move outdoors to the Lawn, the Bright Terrace, or the landscaped Town Square with its stone fire ring. Together the spaces handle gatherings from roughly 100 guests up to several hundred. Event planning and catering are handled in house, and because guests can stay, golf, and book spa treatments without leaving the grounds, a single event can unfold across a full weekend in one location.

Williams Country Club
1000 Williams Dr, Weirton, WV 26062, USA- Spaces for 150-250 Guests
- 1 Ballroom
- 1 Country Club
- 1 Historic Space
Sandstone barged up the Ohio River from Isabella, Pennsylvania went into the clubhouse that has stood above Weirton since 1932 — a one-of-a-kind stone building from the depths of the Great Depression, when Weirton Steel bought the 150 acres of bluff it sits on. Williams Golf and Country Club grew from a nine-hole course, laid out by Emil 'Dutch' Loeffler and John McGlynn, into the par-72, 18-hole layout that has since hosted the USGA, the West Virginia Golf Association, the Tri-State PGA, and three West Virginia Opens. Celebrations here trace back nearly as far: a 1937 wedding on the front lawn of the club's stone Lodge once made the pages of Time. Today the Grand Ballroom carries that thread indoors, its hardwood floors and neutral decor accented with Swarovski crystals, while lawns overlooking the river and course serve as ceremony sites. The club hosts weddings, banquets, corporate gatherings, wine tastings, and themed dinners for as many as 200 guests, with plated menus from the executive chef's kitchen.

Canaan Valley Resort & Conference Center
230 Main Lodge Rd, Davis, WV 26260, USA- Spaces for 40-840 Guests
- 1 Ballroom
- 1 Outdoor
- 11 Total Spaces
Canaan Valley Resort State Park occupies a mountain valley near Davis, West Virginia, where a year-round lodge sits amid ski terrain, hiking and biking trails, and a championship golf course. That landscape shapes the events held here: couples can hold an outdoor ceremony reached by a scenic chairlift ride, framed by the surrounding mountains, or keep the ceremony indoors, then carry the celebration into recreation that ranges from sporting clays and archery to an outdoor pool. More than 25,000 square feet of function space spans a dozen rooms, from small private meeting rooms to two large reception venues — Bear Paw Lodge and the Pavilion — that each seat several hundred guests for banquets and weddings. Floor plans reconfigure for theater-style, classroom, banquet, or standing-reception layouts, and a culinary team handles catering and full-service banquets while a conference-services team supports planning. Complimentary high-speed internet reaches the meeting rooms. On-site lodging keeps groups together, from a 160-room lodge to cabins and cottages around the property.

War Memorial Building
War Memorial Building, 102 E German St, Shepherdstown, WV 25443, USA- Spaces for 100-120 Guests
- 1 Ballroom
- 2 Historic Spaces
- 1 Art Gallery
Red brick rises to a gabled front on East German Street, at the center of historic Shepherdstown. The building went up in 1868 as the Methodist Episcopal Church; in 1947 the Men's Club of Shepherdstown bought it and renamed it the War Memorial Building for those who died in World War II. The Shepherdstown Community Club, a nonprofit, has maintained it as a community gathering place ever since. Two floors host events. At street level, the Gallery Room spans 1,370 square feet and holds up to 100 guests; a hanging system outfits the walls for art shows, while the open floor clears for cocktail receptions. Upstairs, the Grand Ballroom rises under 20-foot ceilings across 1,786 square feet and holds 120, its dance floor long known around town and its tables and chairs stored out of sight until an event sets up. A full catering kitchen adjoins the ballroom, and an elevator reaches the second floor. Renters book one floor or both.
