On 33 acres in beautiful Buckhead, we offer the widest variety of event options at one location. Let beauty and serenity set the scene at the glorious historic Swan House Gardens. An outdoor gathering at this iconic 1928 mansion rises to unforgettable heights on a private lawn with majestic cascading fountains and the elegant intimate Boxwood Garden. After your ceremony, stroll across the bridge for cocktails outside on the Museum Terraces. If you prefer an inside option, the Atlanta History Museum has award-winning exhibitions, and we allow beverages in the exhibits for a very fun cocktail hour! Enjoy simple elegance with your dinner reception in the Grand Overlook ballroom. This unique ballroom featuring Brazilian cherry wood floors, barrel vaulted ceiling, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the magnificently illuminated Quarry Garden. The combination of these venues is as versatile as they are breathtaking. As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complementary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $500 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest. The Historic DeKalb Courthouse is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, fundraisers, and other special events of all kinds. This beautiful courthouse, located in Decatur, Georgia, just minutes away from Atlanta, serves as a spectacular backdrop for any historic event. With stunning arched windows and marble walls, the main event area is a sight to behold. A total of 150 guests may be accommodated at tables in the venue, which has lots of natural light and hardwood floors. A cocktail hour or a check-in area can be held in the lobby of the hotel. The Historic DeKalb Courthouse, which is located in Decatur, Georgia, only minutes away from Atlanta, is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, fund-raisers, and other special events. You will have the perfect setting for your historic event with the marble walls and wonderfully arched windows. During all evening and weekend rentals, guests will have access to the Courtroom, Harrison Room, Lobby, Groom's Room, and Bridal Suite for a total of 8 hours. The first two hours are usually devoted to setup, while the last hour is devoted to cleaning. The remaining 5 hours can be utilized for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception, according on your preferences. The ceremony and reception are both held in the Courtroom, and there is usually a room flip as guests enjoy cocktail hour in the lobby before the wedding. Most of the time, renters employ one of our Preferred Caterers to set up, flip, dismantle, and clean up after the event.

In 1886,a century before the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County purchased this elegant, late Victorian period home, Judge and Colonel W.T. Roberts exchanged wedding vows with Emma Quillian, daughter of the Reverend J. C. B. Quillian. Reverend Quillian was one of the early settlers of Douglas County, and the property’s original owner. After the death of Reverend Quillian, Colonel Roberts bought the land from his mother-in-law and work on the two-story Neoclassical home began March 21, 1901.

Booth Western Art Museum is the world's largest permanent exhibition space for Western art, housed in a 120,000-square-foot building in Cartersville, Georgia — designed to resemble a modern pueblo and constructed from Bulgarian limestone. Open since 2003 and located just north of Atlanta along I-75, the Booth is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate and the second largest art museum in Georgia. The museum's permanent collection spans more than a dozen galleries, from Frederic Remington and Charles Russell to contemporary masters Howard Terpning and Andy Warhol. The Millar Presidential Gallery displays a portrait and original hand-signed letter from each U.S. President. Temporary exhibitions rotate throughout the year, hosting 12 to 15 shows annually.
