The Portico, an exterior terrace adjoining the Promenade overlooking the fountain, can be used as an additional seating area or as an extension of the party space. The auditorium seats 2,586 with a continental style configuration on the orchestra level and five Ring levels studded with “jewel” faceted lights. An immense spherical chandelier is the centerpiece of the ornately paneled gold ceiling.

BENOIT NY opened its doors in 2008 in the historic La Cote Basque space, founded by renowned Michelin-starred French chef Alain Ducasse. Our mission is to bring an authentic slice of French dining to the heart of New York City. Guests are transported to a Parisian bistro right in Midtown Manhattan. This historic venue, which was originally built in the 1930s as the Grand Ballroom of the adjacent Edison Hotel, reopened in 2008 following a multi-million dollar renovation that preserved its original flair and art deco style. Whether it's a wedding, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a holiday party, a fundraiser, a business conference or even a red carpet fashion show, this expansive, multi-level venue is the ideal location for any type of private event. The Edison Ballroom's excellent in-house catering, prepared by celebrity chef Mina Newman, is available for every event. The venue also provides its state-of-the-art lighting and sound system at no additional cost, making it one of the most sought-after venues in New York City. Funds from these rentals help provide the capital for our philanthropic donations. Built in 1928, with a weathered stone exterior and gabled roof, the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood was constructed in the style of a fine Dutch colonial home. It was designed by New York architect George Koyl.
