White Rose Ranch is a tranquil haven in the midst of Petty, a small town. We were looking for a cattle ranch, but we ended up finding a lot more! The ranch's quiet and tranquility speak for itself. We provide three separate services: a magnificent outdoor site for special events such as weddings, ministry outings, and special occasions, equine assisted learning (EAL) for corporate/business team development and leadership abilities, and couples intensive counseling. From Dallas to Oklahoma, we are conveniently placed to serve the neighboring communities. When we bought the ranch, we named it "White Rose Ranch," and the concept of creating a retreat center unlike any other rapidly took root in our minds. We welcome anyone who requires our services. River Bend Nature Center sits on twenty acres in Wichita Falls, Texas, where forests, wetlands, and gardens typical of the Rolling Plains ecosystem meet along the River Bottom Forest Trail. The nonprofit nature center offers several outdoor venues for private events, including the Elizabeth Prothro Pavilion, the J.S. Bridwell Terrace, and the Forest Ceremony Site. The 7,000-square-foot Elizabeth Prothro Pavilion overlooks 15 acres of bottomland forest and accommodates up to 500 guests, making it suited to large wedding receptions, galas, and corporate gatherings. Nearby, the J.S. Let your creativity go wild with weddings, corporate events, and family gatherings. Our Story The trees attracted us when we first walked into the land that would become Dos Arbolitos. A unique mix of towering bull pines, large post oaks, pin oaks, burr oaks, and live oaks grew alongside massive post oaks, pin oaks, burr oaks, and live oaks. The forest was alive with birds and there were acres of yellow coreopsis. Our goal has been to make this incredible setting our home while maintaining the natural beauty and calm that drew us to the property in the first place. We wanted to retain the solitude, tranquility, and serenity of the old forest by surrounding our new home inside it, as well as develop and conserve the unique woodland setting we had fallen in love with. We wanted to capture the sounds and sensations of the woods while also honoring the land and paying homage to early twentieth-century Texas. Everything we did in the construction of Dos Arbolitos was done with a distinct feeling of care. We tried to remember that special feeling we had the first day we walked onto the land and were calmed by the cool breezes in the middle of summer, enchanted by the choir of birds singing in the virgin forest, and eventually swept away by the natural woodland beauty of this place we knew would become our home with each step we took. Now we want to share Dos Arbolitos' beauty and peace with others.

In a variety of private and semi-private accommodations, the property can accommodate big parties of up to 50 people. Stay out of the ordinary in one of our 19 modern-rustic rooms located throughout the property. You can book the entire property up to two years in advance or a single room within a month. There are two interior spaces that are great for hosting parties, as well as 30 acres of outdoor space to create your ideal gathering beneath the shade of oak trees. The Gathering House and Two Bedroom Cottage both have full kitchens, and many of our cabins and suites have kitchenettes. Our overnight guests are welcome to utilize our pool.
