  Myles Chefetz, who was born in Miami on Homestead Air Force Base and graduated from the University of Miami Law School, spent the majority of his early adult life in New York City practicing law before transitioning into the restaurant and nightclub business. Chefetz was inspired to expand his expertise to Miami Beach while on vacation in 1994, when he realized that there was a significant need to improve the restaurant scene on South Beach.
