  Caspiana Plantation House is a wedding and private event venue set on 10 acres of grounds in northwest Louisiana, approximately 20 minutes from Shreveport. The property centers on a historic plantation house surrounded by open landscape, offering a distinctly Southern backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations. The venue's signature indoor space, The Greenhouse, is a 4,000-square-foot climate-controlled structure featuring chandeliers, an in-house sound system, a fireplace, restrooms, and dressing areas — accommodating up to 200 guests. The outdoor grounds provide an equally spacious setting for ceremonies and receptions, with the same 200-guest maximum across the full property. Caspiana hosts only one event per weekend, giving each couple exclusive use of both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Rental packages include an extensive inventory of tables, chairs, linens, lighting, and décor, along with full setup, cleanup, and on-site coordination throughout the event day.   Like New Orleans, NOLA Spaces has deep roots. This space has been re-imagined many times throughout its life. Originally a firehouse, our space has served as an auto repair shop, residential housing, and even a recording studio for local pianist Eddie Bo. The building was purchased in 2010 and lovingly reconstructed with as many original elements as possible. As you walk through the space, you’ll see a shiplap motif which uses wood original to the building, the old firehouse doors which were brought inside and refinished, and even a pole in our lobby, as a nod to the building’s original purpose. NOLA Spaces is the ideal location for holding a photographic session, a one-time or ongoing workshop, or a rehearsal or rehearsal rehearsal! Sprung wood flooring, mirrors, a sound system, central A/C and heat, and complimentary Wi-Fi are all included in each room. Each accommodation also includes a variety of conveniences to meet your unique requirements, such as: THE ROOM WITH THE FIREHOUSE: (STUDIO 4) With over 1,600 square feet, the Firehouse Room is the largest room in our campus. This room can accommodate roughly 100 people and is our most often used event venue. The Firehouse Room, which features enormous, framed mirrors covering the walls, a professional-quality sound system, and variable lighting, is an ideal setting for a banquet or dance party. NOLA Spaces is a flexible space that may be used for a multitude of purposes. The following are examples of common events that take place in our space: Dance and fitness classes are available. Rehearsals Photoshoots are a common occurrence. Music and theater are two of my favorite things. Lessons on a One-on-One Basis Meetings and corporate functions are two examples of what we do.   Cypress Grove Wedding Venue is a special place for us, and we're thrilled to share it with you! My name is Ted, and the name of my wife's is Joy. We are young empty nesters who have returned to our hometown and purchased this property in 2016 after having lived away for many years. We have two children and two grandchildren. We live on the property next to the venue and enjoy being on site because it allows us to meet so many beautiful couples as they go through the process of arranging their special wedding weekend. We have a dog and a cat, and we enjoy spending time with them. We have two daughters who are both married and have recently welcomed three adorable boys into the family, making us the proud grandparents of three little boys! Last but not least, don't forget about our newest member of the Cypress Grove family, our adorable Labradoodle Jolie! The venue is a historic general store that was built in 1886 and relocated to its current location in the 1990s. As a general shop, it was well-known for being one of the last locations that Bonnie and Clyde attempted to rob in 1934, when it was still in operation. The store has been transformed into a celebration venue, complete with a lovely verdant open field and a slab for the wedding ceremony. Moreover, in the event that it rains, this historic wedding venue has a one-of-a-kind backup plan. As you step through the old french doors, you are greeted by a spacious covered porch with cypress benches that run the length of the porch. This room is great, and it also serves as a wonderful covered reception area for any event. The atmosphere you will experience here is a classic rustic ambience in a historical setting, yet it has been upgraded with modern amenities like as a large central air system and wi-fi throughout the property. The interior is decorated in a light palette with white vintage shiplap, wood ceilings and floors, antique wooden carbels, original 1800's counters that are perfect for serving meals, and much more! All of these factors combine to make Cypress Grove a top-rated wedding venue and a popular choice among brides.

  City Park Peristyle

  The Peristyle was actually constructed specifically for gatherings with dancing. This neo-classical open-air pavilion with a colonnade was designed by Paul Andry in 1907, and it has since undergone various renovations, the most recent of which was completed in 2012, thanks to a generous donation from Mea and Vincent Saia in 1989.
