  Concord Art — formally the Concord Center for the Visual Arts — occupies the historic John Ball House (circa 1752) at 37 Lexington Road in Concord, Massachusetts. Founded in 1917 by American Impressionist Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts, it is among the oldest continuously operating art organizations in the country, with a permanent collection rooted in early 20th-century work and four rotating galleries that remain free and open to the public. The building's rooms lend themselves naturally to private events. The Roberts Gallery on the second floor spans 30 by 40 feet under a turn-of-the-century skylight, with hardwood floors, built-in speakers, a screen and presentation system, and lift access. That's why we carefully select our components and prioritize our community in everything we do. Chef Irene Li and her two older siblings started Mei Mei as a food truck in 2012. Mei Mei food is a reflection of the Li siblings' best childhood dining memories as Chinese-American youngsters growing up in Boston. "Mei Mei" means "little sister" in Mandarin Chinese. Mei Mei's unique dumpling combinations reflect our passion for wonderful New England ingredients and a desire to create delicious dishes. We work with small, independent family farms in the Northeast to acquire pasture-raised meat. Throughout the year, we may get 70 percent of our food from the Northeast. Mei Mei has been a "Open Book" firm since 2018, which means they disclose all financial information with all employees, empowering them to think and act like managers regardless of their position or title. The business has altered since the pandemic. Our food truck has been taken off the road, and our restaurant dining room has been closed. Pierce, who bequeathed the mansion and property to the Town of Lincoln. Drumlin Farm, deCordova Museum, Minute Man National Park, and Walden Pond Reservation are all located in the Lincoln community. Pierce House has a "recommended" vendor list that our Director, Victoria, has hand-selected. All of the suppliers on our list have previously worked at Pierce House, are aware of our policies and procedures, and have previously delivered excellent service, employees, and management. Our Gallery has seating for 40-50 people. Only our venue is included in our rental packages. Please visit Additional Rental Items for chair and table rentals. We do not provide linens, dishware, cocktail tables, decorations, or flowers, thus these items must be arranged through an outside vendor. We promote diversity through the events we provide in the visual and performing arts. We make our space available to artists and groups who might not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped and accessible facility or the cultural mainstream because we are a multi-use art center.   We're a creative Italian neighborhood eatery. We believe that the way we cook meals and interact with our community should be kind and attentive. And, like you, we understand the importance of a nice dinner shared with friends. MIDA. It literally means "he gives me." And each meal we prepare is intended to be a unique present for you.
