  Borsari Gallery

  Sea Captain Uriah Howe originally built the Barn that now houses the Borsari Gallery in the early 1800s. The barn's first purpose was to serve as a commercial abattoir for Cape Cod and its environs. The Crowell family held the Sea Captain's home and abattoir for for a century, until it was purchased by Cape Cod local artist David Grose in 1960 and utilized to showcase his work. Bob and Kathy Borsari bought the property in 2008 and undertook a three-year renovation that was both elaborate and historically appropriate. The post and beam construction was lovingly restored to its original New England rustic elegance. The original pumpkin pine flooring was exposed, the century-old "ice box" was used, and the historic 1800s track & pulley system that was employed on the property when it was an operating abattoir was displayed. It was at this point that the barn's original beauty was revealed. While the original goal of the restoration was to create a setting that would allow Bob and Kathy to continue the history of presenting good art, it was clear by the end that they had produced much more than an art gallery. As a result, the Borsari Gallery was born: "Exceptional Image & Memorable Events." A pleasant and sophisticated environment with plenty of atmosphere; an ideal and surely unusual place for small gatherings of up to 100 people.

Willow Spring Vineyards is a picture-perfect location for unforgettable events in our hand-hewn post and beam barn, which sits on more than twenty acres of land. The barn can accommodate up to 99 people for events. A large landscape project completed in 2015 resulted in a lovely lawn area and patio with a stunning fireplace. This grass is large enough to accommodate a tent for up to 200 people. In the year 2000, Jim and Cindy Parker bought a dilapidated barn and a plot of land from Mary Ray. We started the adventure with a strong focus on restoration and agriculture. Beginning with the dismantling of the eighteenth-century building, we began mapping and marking each piece in preparation for potential re-assembly. The edifice was pulled down piece by piece and logged for rebuilding with the help of family, friends, neighbors, and passers-by. For the huge space, an energy efficient system was designed as part of the green building planning. This barn is truly green, thanks to geothermal heating and cooling and a photovoltaic system (solar panels). Our two acres of grapes surround the beautiful 18th century barn, which can easily be seen from the road. The magnificent 25+ acres continue behind the barn, which may be appreciated from the wraparound deck or in front of the majestic hearth.

We cater to groups who want the Ultimate Location for a reunion, birthday celebration or a mini/micro wedding. All our homes are Located in the outer portion of Cape Cod in the small towns of Eastham and East Orleans. Eastham is a great town for vacations in Cape Cod. With the town only being a couple of miles wide, you are not far from the Bay or Ocean. The Bay offers great walking/exploring of the flats at low tide and is an easy walk from our rental properties and the ocean is only a short drive or bike ride away. Our homes in Eastham are within walking distance to the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path. Also close by is the Hemingway Landing, where you can dig your own shellfish, or drop a small boat and go striper fishing in Town Cove. Down the road is the Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre that offers the infamous flea market by day and movie by night. Provincetown is only a 20- to 30-minute drive away and a great place to book a Whale Watch. There are several festivals that occur in Eastham and the surrounding towns throughout the year. There are also numerous hiking trails at the Wellfleet Audubon Society nearby and a one of a kind experience at the National Seashore. East Orleans, is home to Nauset Beach, the first longest National Seashore Beach, accessible by car. You are able to get a beach pass to drive on the beach but you must plan ahead. You are walking distance to East Orleans Village which includes shopping, restaurants and great ice cream. Each of our homes offer a unique and special way of creating a fabulous Cape Cod Experience.
