THE HISTORY OF THE BELL HOUSE The Bell House, a state-of-the-art 8,000 square foot facility with a separate performance space and lounge, is centrally located between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens. Constructed in the 1920s from an old printing factory and boasting an 88 foot long and 25 foot high magnificent wooden barrel vault ceiling, The Bell House has quickly established itself as a major center for arts and entertainment in Brownstone Brooklyn. THE MAIN EXHIBITION ROOM The Main Room at The Bell House boasts 25 foot wooden arched ceilings, a 450 square foot stage, and unobstructed views of the stage from any part of the room, making it an ideal space for performances, large gatherings, weddings, and celebrations of all kinds. This space can easily accommodate 500 people standing or 200+ people seated at a time. In addition, guests can take in the scenery from the elevated platform of the beautiful 30′ wooden bar that runs along the West wall. This space can be used in conjunction with the Front Lounge for parties and events with a capacity of up to 600 people. THE LOUNGE AT THE FRONT The Front Lounge of The Bell House, which is located directly in front of the building, retains its warm and intimate character while comfortably accommodating up to 150 people.   Alder Manor is a 72-room Renaissance Revival mansion in Yonkers, New York, designed in 1912 by the architecture firm Carrère and Hastings for mining magnate William Boyce Thompson. Named for Thompson's Montana hometown of Alder Gulch, the estate sits on more than six acres of classically inspired gardens filled with authentic Roman artifacts imported from Italy in the early twentieth century. The interior is defined by a succession of original architectural features: marble floors, walnut and oak paneling, a rare English-style trompe-l'oeil ceiling, a 15th-century Italian stone fireplace, an actual 16th-century Italian church façade incorporated into the structure, a three-story staircase, and an indoor tiled pool topped by a stained glass window. Many of the 72 rooms retain original Renaissance paintings and historic artifacts. The grounds command views of the Hudson River and the Palisades.   Catskill View Weddings & Events occupies Thor Icelandics, LLC., a working Icelandic horse farm in Claverack, New York — in the heart of Columbia County's Hudson Valley, two hours north of New York City and ten minutes from the city of Hudson. The farm is home to more than 50 Icelandic horses and is recognized as the only Icelandic horse farm in North America that operates as a wedding and event venue. Three distinct outdoor spaces — The Hill, the Upper Track, and the Lower Track — each accommodate up to 300 guests. The Hill commands a full 360-degree, unobstructed view of the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountain range, with the sun setting directly over the mountains to the west; it is the venue's signature setting. The Upper Track, nestled in the heart of the farm and enclosed by woods on most sides, offers a more private atmosphere with exceptional acoustics. The Lower Track, located near the barnyard entrance, positions guests among active horse fields with the property's large barn visible in the near distance. The estate consists of a large house and many smaller structures scattered over the grounds, all of which include excellent historical elements from the 1920s. A wooded region and cliff with views of the broad Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge provide a range of lovely and peaceful vistas. The Belvedere was once part of Philipsburg Manor, a 90,000-acre property and one of America's richest landholdings, and was built in the 1910s. Dr. Philip Gillette Cole bought it in 1928 and renamed it Zeeview. It was built by Florence and Casper Whitney and purchased by Dr. Philip Gillette Cole in 1928. The home at Zeeview looked out over the huge Hudson River and the "Tappan Zee" with ease. The Coles erected the Agora House and the Studio on the land and displayed their significant collection of American Western art, which was ultimately moved to the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The estate was purchased by Samuel Bronfman of the Seagrams Whiskey dynasty after Cole's death. After the Bronfmans' primary mansion in Toronto, the property was christened Belvedere. Belvedere became the headquarters of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in 1972. Clinton Hall's rustic and modest 4,000 square foot beer hall is situated back somewhat from the street at the corners of Rector and Washington in the bustling downtown Financial District, just a few short streets from the site of the freshly restored World Trade Center. The interior and outdoor rooms are connected by a series of glass doors that lead into the courtyard. Guests may sit at the 20-seat Carrara marble bar, which is flanked by reclaimed brick and wood walls recovered from Upstate New York and Pennsylvania farms, or drink with friends at communal tables and benches, which are all softly lighted by handcrafted light fixtures and naked Edison bulbs. Clinton Hall features a rotating range of 20 draught beers and ciders from the United States, Belgium, Germany, Scandinavia, and beyond, ranging from cask ales to keg-conditioned ales and lagers. All suds are delivered at a properly calibrated 34 degrees, every time, thanks to an on-site flux capacitor that calibrates nitrogen and carbon dioxide and regulates compression of each particular beer to the Brew Masters requirements.
