Cool Springs House is a restored 1830s log home in Brentwood, Tennessee, now operated by the City of Brentwood at Crockett Park. The house was built by the Carothers family, one of middle Tennessee's largest log homes at the time, and expanded in the 1870s with added halls and a Victorian front porch. A 1974 restoration by Karen and John Noel uncovered the original blue-poplar log construction beneath later coverings, work that earned the property a place on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1983. Today the venue hosts more than 100 events a year, offering exclusive use of the house and surrounding grounds for weddings, elopements, showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and celebrations of life. The venue books only one event per day, so clients have private access to the full property without a competing party on site. Guest counts run up to 150 across the house and grounds, with the option to add a tent on the lawn for larger outdoor gatherings. Upstairs, the Private Event Loft offers a more intimate setting for up to 50 guests, centered on a historic 22-foot table, and can serve as a standalone space for private dinners and showers or as an add-on to a ceremony held on the main level. The property includes an on-site kitchen, two changing suites, and an open vendor policy that allows clients to bring in their own caterer or licensed vendors of choice.

37 Rutledge St, Nashville, TN 37210, USA
    • Spaces for 28-35 Guests
    • 1 Restaurant

The Stables at Husk is a private dining and events area that is housed in our historic carriage house. This venue provides guests with the opportunity to participate in a unique and exclusive Husk experience. The Stables is a cozy ambiance that is perfect for any event because it has its own kitchen, bathroom, and patio that is separate from the main restaurant. The room is large enough to accommodate up to 16 guests for brunch service, 28 guests for a meal served at tables, or 30 to 35 guests for a cocktail party that is standing only. For parties with a size that exceeds the capacity of our private dining area, we are able to provide a buyout of the entire restaurant, including the main house. The Neighborhood Dining Group's Husk restaurant is changing people's conceptions of what it means to cook and dine in Nashville. In the heart of Downtown Nashville, in the neighborhood of Rutledge Hill, and only a few blocks south of Historic Broadway, is where you'll find it. The menu at Husk delves into a cuisine that is driven by the ingredients and begins with the rediscovery of heirloom items. At Husk, there are limitations placed on the types of foods that can be served on the plate. If it does not come from the south, it will not be able to enter the building. The end result is a cuisine that, rather than attempting to rediscover Southern cookery, investigates the authenticity of Southern food. The seed-saving, heirloom husbandry, in-house pickling, and charcuterie programs that Executive Chef Ben Norton and his culinary crew conduct at Husk are the foundation of the restaurant's cuisine.

Wedding parties are drawn to the setting's range of backdrops, from the shaded Backyard beneath large magnolia and maple trees to the tin-roof White Barn favored for elopements and small ceremonies. For ceremonies, the Historic Home's brick aisle-way and porch serve as a naturally decorated altar for larger gatherings, while the Creekside location — with built-in benches overlooking Stewart's Creek — suits intimate weddings of 50 guests or fewer. The Creek House offers a working gas fireplace, hardwood floors, and a full kitchen for receptions, rehearsal dinners, and business luncheons, and can double as a bridal suite for full-site rentals, with the nearby Ed Building serving as a groomsmen room. The wrap-around Veranda, lined with ceiling fans and lights, adds a covered reception space overlooking the Backyard. Couples and event hosts may bring their own catering and vendors, and alcohol service is permitted with an ABC-licensed bartender on site. A large paved lot and multiple parking fields accommodate bigger events, and the historic home itself can be opened for self-guided tours during parties for an additional fee.

Dixon Gallery & Gardens is a museum and public garden set on seventeen acres in Memphis, Tennessee, built around the home, gardens, and art collection bequeathed by Margaret Oates Dixon and Hugo Norton Dixon. The museum's collection includes more than 2,000 objects, with particular strength in French and American Impressionist paintings alongside notable German and English porcelain, and the Dixon mounts eight to ten exhibitions each year across its galleries. The surrounding gardens combine formal plantings, woodland areas, and cutting gardens, and offer two settings for wedding ceremonies: the sweeping South Lawn and the more intimate, circular Bowlin Stage, each accommodating up to 200 guests. Receptions and rehearsal dinners move indoors to the Hughes Pavilion, a brick building in the Woodland Gardens with large skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over woodland, lawn, and garden sculpture; surrounding patios, covered by a seasonal tent, let the celebration extend outdoors. The Pavilion accommodates up to 200 guests for a cocktail-style reception or 80 to 150 for a seated meal. For couples who prefer a smaller ceremony, the Dixon also offers a vow-exchange option for fifteen guests or fewer, with a choice of smaller garden backdrops throughout the property. Set inside a full-scale, ship-shaped building along the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, the Titanic Museum Attraction brings the story of the RMS Titanic to life through authentic artifacts and immersive, hands-on exhibits. The museum traces back to a 1987 deep-sea expedition to the Titanic wreck site, co-led by founder John Joslyn, whose 44 days and 32 dives at the wreck directly inspired the attraction. Visitors can walk a full-scale replica of the Grand Staircase, touch water chilled to the Titanic's iceberg-night temperature of 28 degrees, and take a turn in the boiler room's coal-shoveling exhibit. Beyond self-guided tours, the museum's Grand Staircase and dining spaces open up for weddings, vow renewals, proposals, and corporate gatherings, presided over in some cases by a costumed First Officer and supported by dedicated event coordinators. Corporate groups can also book the space for meetings, galas, presentations, and team-building events set against the museum's collection of artifacts and full-scale re-creations.

The Museum of Appalachia sits on 60 pastoral acres in Clinton, Tennessee, where founder John Rice Irwin spent half a century gathering the everyday tools, tools, and stories of Southern Appalachia into a living pioneer village. Some three dozen historic log structures, including cabins, barns, churches, and schools, stand alongside gardens and free-range farm animals behind split-rail fences, and three exhibit buildings house over 250,000 folk-art, musical, and textile artifacts. The Museum became a Smithsonian Affiliate in 2007. That rolling, historic backdrop makes the grounds a distinctive setting for weddings and private events. Couples can choose from several outdoor ceremony and reception sites, among them the Grist Mill Field, the Cantilever Barn Field, and the Hall of Fame Lawn, or move indoors to a barn-style reception hall with a full-prep kitchen and antique serving bars.
