Stone Crest® is a 60' x 120' reception hall with beautiful surrounds, elaborate features, and substantial reclaimed wood for a lodge-like feel. Bring 30 or 275 of your closest friends or family members; whatever your guest list requirements are, we can accommodate you. No of the occasion, your whole guest list and all honorees will like our breathtaking landscapes and exquisite décor. You also have the option of selecting your own vendors in Stone Crest. As a result of our desire to be closer to our children and grandkids, we closed the doors of our long-standing San Antonio-based business, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder (www.steveheflinhomes.com), and relocated to the Ft Worth region in 2011. The idea of a commercial venture that would bring together our talents in design, construction, décor, and hospitality sparked our imaginations, and we began daydreaming and planning for it. Our 35 years of marriage, combined with a sprinkling of supernatural guidance, may have prompted the notion of developing a wedding/event venue that was distinct in both style and beauty for our clients. We discovered a 21-acre farm just outside of historic Weatherford, TX, while searching the Fort Worth countryside. Beautiful trees, natural springs, and pasture area are all part of this estate, which has been in the family for 115 years. We began collecting architectural elements such as 300+ year old doors, gables, mirrors, tables, rustic wagons, gates, and benches from Texas and Santa Fe, using the same expertise and attention to detail Steve used in designing beautiful custom homes. These elements will be used in both a Country Chapel and an Event Center, which will be completed in 2018. This is where the journey begins! Construction began when the land was purchased, the move was completed, the designs were drafted, and the road was built. The Brooks at Weatherford, a new community in Weatherford, is taking shape one step at a time. Even as we cherish the opportunity to be near to our children and grandchildren, we are reminded and assured that marriage is worth the effort of remaining together and, more importantly, worth celebrating. Built in 1949 on a 280-acre homestead in Sunset Valley, just 10 minutes from downtown Austin, the Brodie Homestead barn spent nearly 50 years housing cattle, horses, and donkeys before its 2011 purchase by Daniel and Vicki Ross, owners of Austin's Allan House. After an extensive renovation, the family-owned venue opened for events in 2014, and its 38-foot wooden gambrel roof, original cathedral-like ceilings, and large stone walls remain from the historic structure. Six crystal chandeliers, rafter uplighting, and Edison bulb globe lighting illuminate the barn wood and white limestone interior, while custom white draping can divide the more than 4,200 square feet of indoor space into smaller areas. Brodie Homestead hosts weddings, corporate events, holiday celebrations, and non-profit fundraisers, accommodating up to 350 guests standing or 250 seated for a reception, with rentals including exclusive use of the space for 10 hours, two private loft changing suites, a catering prep kitchen, and a stone wall hook system for hanging greenery and florals. Outdoor walkways surround the building, and nearby green space is available for portraits and ceremony photography. Rentals also include a complimentary two-hour bridal portrait or engagement session and a complimentary one-hour ceremony rehearsal, along with an on-site manager and security officer present throughout each event.

Its event spaces were originally constructed as mule barns in the early 1900s, when the district processed over 50 million hogs and 40 million sheep at the peak of the Texas cattle trade; the buildings have since been restored to blend that Western heritage with modern comforts, retaining original brick flooring and abundant natural light. Three venues make up the property: Stampede Ballroom, Stockman's Club, and Lone Star Hall, sized for gatherings from intimate ceremonies to receptions of hundreds of guests. Celebrate your big day in the historic Frisco Heritage Village in North Texas' Frisco, Texas. Let's get started on your trip together. It is customary to do your wedding rehearsal at the Chapel the night before your wedding day. Your big day has finally arrived, and it is customary for everyone in the wedding party to gather at the Crozier Bridal House to begin the festivities. It consists of the full downstairs bridal suite, as well as the kitchen, baths, living room, and dining area. There is plenty of space for a luncheon, dressing and cosmetics, as well as gathering places for your personal family members. Upon arrival at the Chapel, the bridal party is taken to the altar. The ceremony will commence shortly after. The priest, the bride, and the groomsmen make their way to the front of the Chapel. Following that, the bridesmaids, ring bearer, and flower girl enter via the front door. It has now come to your turn. We purchased our Paradise home eight years ago with the intention of retiring there eventually. Our daughter urged us to build a wedding barn when she got engaged. The family spent a year preparing the location for the event, and it was even given the name Wedding Hill. Even in the midst of a torrential downpour, the couple's wedding under the massive oak tree overlooking the pond was breathtaking.
