  The Cibolo Nature Center sits on more than 160 acres of preserved Texas Hill Country in the heart of Boerne, shaped by the Cibolo Creek that runs through the property. The nature center offers more than six miles of trails across five distinct ecosystems, including a native prairie, a spring-fed marsh with an ADA-accessible boardwalk, and a wooded creek trail beneath oak and cypress canopy. Under the name The Cibolo, the nature center and its sister property, Herff Farm, host meetings, weddings, retreats, corporate events, and community gatherings in a setting surrounded by nature and Hill Country history. Event spaces range from the intimate Historic Herff House to the larger Hunke Gathering Hall and Nature Center Auditorium, giving planners a choice of indoor and outdoor settings for gatherings of varying sizes. Proceeds from event rentals support the organization's environmental education, research, and conservation work.

"In the summer of 2019, I (Jennifer Cole) embarked on a mission to establish a nonprofit that rescues, repairs, and rehomes numerous dogs. In my hunt for the ideal location, I knew The Wildflower Ranch would be the ideal spot for dogs to discover a safe refuge and begin their healing process the moment I saw it. I am overjoyed to be able to offer you, your family, or your team this lovely and huge log cabin vacation and tiny cottages.   WE WELCOME TO THE Heritage Farmstead Museum, which is located in Plano, Texas. The Heritage Farmstead Museum (HFM) is the main living history site in North Texas portraying the Texas Blackland Prairie region. It is located on a working farm. The HFM, which is certified by the American Alliance of Museums, aspires to provide a glimpse into the past for individuals of all ages, interests, and origins. The museum is a public service institution, and it is held responsible to the public by government, self-imposed, and peer-imposed rules and regulations. The mission of the Heritage Farmstead Museum is to collect, conserve, and explain the history of the Blackland Prairie during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries while making proper use of the authentically restored Farrell-Wilson Farmstead, which is a recognized historic site. We hope you have a pleasant experience during your visit to the Heritage Farmstead Museum. Located right here in Plano, our 4.5-acre piece of history serves as the ideal location for your: parties, weddings, reunions, business gatherings, and team building exercises.
