Wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties, and seminars can be held in the Athenaeum in a dramatic and unique setting that can be tailored to your individual needs. Upstairs galleries may accommodate up to 125 guests standing or 80 guests seated at tables. For a ceremony, the delightful courtyard offers a lovely outdoor location for up to 50 people to stand or sit. The Athenaeum structure and courtyard are included in all of our rentals. As always, we will be pleased to discuss your specific needs. Rental requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Viewings of the Athenaeum can be arranged in advance or during gallery hours. The gallery is open from noon to four on Thursday through Sunday. On holidays, the Athenaeum is closed. Membership of the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association at the Supporter level ($100) or higher is required to rent out the Athenaeum. The Rules and Regulations for Renting the Athenaeum, the Release of Liability for Renting the Athenaeum, and an event information form must all be read and signed by the renter. The return of a completed contract, a 50% payment, and a $750 refundable security deposit completes a reservation.

Shiloh Manor was once a part of a vast land grant owned by Lord William Fairfax, and it is now a private residence. The property, which has been in the family for generations, has played an important role in the history of Loudoun County, supplying goods to the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, hosting encampments of both the northern and southern armies during the Civil War, and today serving as an elegant and historic setting for weddings and other special events. Located just north of Purcellville, Shiloh Manor has a seating capacity of 100 people and is easily accessible. Our facility's 25-foot-high ceiling, numerous windows, recessed ceiling lighting, and brass chandeliers all contribute to the creation of a bright and airy environment that is fully air-conditioned and heated. A seamless and outstandingly memorable experience for you and your guests is our goal. We have three restrooms, a private bride's suite (with private restroom), professional catering kitchen, musicians loft, and excellent acoustics to accomplish this.
