    1465 SW 8th St #106, Miami, FL 33135, USA
    • Spaces for 200 Guests

Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center is a cultural institution founded in 2007 by Roberto Ramos in the heart of Miami's Little Havana. Built around a collection of Cuban art spanning 1800 to 1959, Cubaocho operates simultaneously as a gallery, performance stage, gathering space, and creative hub — integrating painting, sculpture, music, dance, theater, literature, and film under one roof. The venue hosts a full range of private events, from intimate cocktail receptions to full venue buyouts, all set within gallery spaces surrounded by original artwork. Live Cuban music plays every night, and a full bar, handcrafted cocktails, a late-night Cuban kitchen, and a cigar lounge complement the experience for guests. Founder Roberto Ramos spent decades rescuing paintings and historical narratives nearly lost after the Cuban Revolution, and co-developed the academic text *Great Masters of Cuban Art* with historian Carlos Ramos and scholar Zeida Comesañas Sardiñas — making Cuban art from this period accessible to U.S. universities and fine arts programs. That legacy deepens the cultural context guests encounter throughout the space.

    Morgan’s

28 NE 29th St, Miami, FL 33132, USA

Wow! It seems like only yesterday when we refurbished the landmark neighborhood fixture of the little purple house in Wynwood, Miami, Florida. The first order of business? Choosing our name. Morgan, our oldest daughter, was chosen as a direct result of her uncanny ability in the great sibling equalizer rock, paper, scissors, winning five straight matches and several "re-dos". We suppose it's those communal moments that give us that pep in our collective step. The world has gone up and got itself in some hurry, even the clouds seem to have somewhere to be. At Morgan's we've gone ahead and selected to press pause and enjoy the moment, to cherish companionship. We can still remember running around our summer home, which was also the back porch of our winter home. Enjoying the sun from the day's end, sitting on that old wooden swing with a calm breeze that carried us into a warm summer evening. We've worked our brow off to create that same comforting feeling at Morgan's, where listening is valued as much as speaking and good friends and family take the cake, well, pie as is often in our case.

Bakehouse envisions a world in which artists are supported and valued, and in which their ability to shape, reflect, and transform our world is recognized. This non-profit organization's mission is to address the critical shortage of affordable live-work and work spaces for artists in Miami's urban core. Bakehouse Art Complex, located in a former industrial Art Deco-era bakery, was founded in 1985 by and for artists to provide studio residencies, infrastructure, and community to enable the highest level of artistic creativity, development, and collaboration for the most promising talent. In total, there are approximately 100 resident and associate artists working at the Bakehouse, who come from a wide range of different backgrounds. There is a wide variety of media and practices represented in their work, ranging from painting to performance, from the traditional to the experimental. It is one of the oldest artist-serving organizations in Miami, with studios of various sizes, two galleries, a classroom, print room, photography lab, ceramics facilities, and woodworking and welding areas among other amenities. These spaces, which are otherwise unavailable to artists outside of university campuses, have enabled and continue to enable artists to work, create, discover, learn, and share their practices and work with one another and the broader community, as well as with other artists. In its current stage of development, Bakehouse is aiming to play a more critical role in the collective efforts to create a strong and sustainable ecosystem in Miami that will allow artists and the arts to thrive in their respective fields. In order to better serve the needs of Miami's cultural community, the university is currently developing a master plan to determine the highest and best use for its impressive 2.3-acre campus.
