Established during the Civil Rights Movement to combat racism and displacement in Chinatown, CCC opened its Kearny Street site in 1973 as a landmark concession to the growing movement in Chinatown around community land use. The center offers three primary event spaces across its main location at 750 Kearny Street: a 299-seat auditorium, a 2,935-square-foot gallery, and the Him Mark Lai Learning Center — making it well suited for large performances and screenings, art-forward receptions, educational programs, and community gatherings. A smaller space at 41 Ross Alley in Chinatown accommodates intimate pop-ups and private events. CCC's programming spans contemporary art exhibitions, thought leader seminars, and festivals including the Chinatown Music Festival and Hungry Ghost Festival. Events and rental inquiries are handled by the administrative team, who work with nonprofits, community partners, and private clients to make use of the center's culturally distinctive spaces.

    Palette

816 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA

Chef Peter Hemsley's Palette is a fish-focused fine dining establishment that can be found tucked away in San Francisco's SoMa area. The restaurant offers a fresh take on traditional seafood preparations. Our products and services are based on the dynamic link that exists between the water and the city. In 2019, Hemsley launched Palette with the intention of conveying his unwavering commitment to the art he creates. His "Cal Coastal" culinary philosophy is founded on a profound reverence for the sea and is expressed via the use of seafood and produce that are both fresh and in season. The guests will be able to experience this enthusiasm on the plate as a result of the establishment of strong ties with committed regional purveyors. After receiving his diploma from the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris, Peter went on to develop his abilities at the renowned kitchens of Daniel Boulud in New York, Michael Tusk in San Francisco, and L'Arpege in Paris, all of which were owned by Alain Passard. With this, Hemsley's first endeavor under his own name, he reveals a universe of cuisine that is uniquely his own. His interest in the ocean and all of its varied tastes stems from his upbringing in the Midwest and his desire to learn more about a resource that is tremendously expansive, deeply moving, and poorly understood by people. He is originally from the Midwest. "In order to demonstrate our appreciation, we make every effort to collaborate directly with local fisherman who are self-employed, such as Josh Churchman in Bolinas, Adam Aliotti in Monterey, and Kelly Fukushima in San Diego. These "shepherds of the ocean" deliver items that are of the highest quality and are fished in a sustainable manner, and they do so straight from the source. As a demonstration of our gratitude and commitment to sustainable practices, we don't waste any of the fish that comes through our doors.

The View Lounge reopened its doors in January 2015 after undergoing extensive renovations. When you arrive at the restaurant, you will be greeted by a panoramic view of the city of San Francisco from above. This is also the reason why the restaurant is named The View Lounge; it is uncommon for a restaurant to be located on the 39th floor of a high-rise building, allowing you to take in the unique beauty of the poetic city. Furthermore, it is not only the exterior of the building that establishes the brand, but it is also the interior design that encourages diners to return. The interior design and decoration, which are inspired by Art Deco, are in the artistic style. With scenes like this, the already delectable food and beverages will be elevated to an even higher level of excellence. Tourists, locals, and anyone else who wants to be immersed in the glistening scenery of the city and the artistic atmosphere are drawn to the restaurant by its unique atmosphere. If you have the opportunity to visit San Francisco, you may find The View Lounge restaurant to be a wonderful place to enjoy your meal while taking in the beautiful views and excellent service. In addition to its convenient location in the heart of downtown San Francisco (at 780 Mission Street in the San Francisco Marriott Marquis), the restaurant offers a variety of other amenities. After you've finished your meal, you can go for a walk around the city with your friends and family to get a feel for the place.
